My Chicken enchiladas was good, not great; my wife, she ordered Enchiladas Suizas and it was a little better; my friend ordered T-bone Steak and it wasn’t soft, it was hard steak, hard to chew and he ordered well done, and the steak came medium rare!
Coffee with cinnamon was good!
Soups were good too!

Cocina a la Leña. BEST FOOD IN ROSARITO. The food here is absolutely delicious, you can taste the smoked wood fire on the beans, I usually have red meat, also the Quail. Service is very slow, you might get a very good server or a very bad one, but I come here for the FOOD, it is outstanding, the best ribeye in the area. A must in Rosarito. Ill post pictures next time.

The outside seating has the best ambiance I’ve ever had. One wall has a waterfall and in the pond below there’s a real turtle and some fake ducks. Nice tropical plush trees around it. Service was good but typical Mexican fashion you have to request your check when you’re done with your meal or they’ll let you sit there and enjoy the ambience. I had the coconut shrimp which was really good my husband had the chili relleno which I’ve never seen it serve like that the presentation was beautiful. Also both meals were very flavorful. We went on a Wednesday night and they had a single musician playing which was pretty good no singing, just music. When someone was celebrating her birthday they had a guitarist come out and play for her. Makes you feel like you’re at a high end establishment. It was above $25 for a good meal per person. It will definitely be on our rotation when we come back. I’ve included photos of everything I saw inside including the outside in our meal. We had the cheesecake with fruit for dessert and it was absolutely delicious and piled with fruit. I also had a glass of red wine sangria which is delicious as well full of fruit. If you go down the stairs they have a cedar room where does the aroma is amazing with walls surrounded with wine. Definitely take a trip down there and check it out. I saw a sewing machine similar to the one my grandmother had.

Great steakhouse, food was delicious and well presented. Steaks cooked as ordered, the medium rare was truly medium rare. Sides were equally delicious.
Service was impeccable and the atmosphere was great inside and out. My favorite part about that was walking in and the wood fired grill is front and center.

Would recommend to any tourist visiting Rosarito or nearby areas.
The outside is nothing phenomenonal, but the inside is very charming. The subtle hues of brown create a cozy environment, and lighting is toned and warmed to create a personal ambient, where the focus is on you and your party.
Good spacing on tables enables seclusion from others. Waiters are amiable and inviting.
I visited on a Thursday evening during April 2023, and the service my party received was very satisfactory.
The food is what truly makes me miss this place.
The prices as well, of course!
The crisp tortillas aren’t really anything to write home about, but for a small price, the carpaccio served with a perfect amount of olive oil and capers are so good. It’s literally the best carpaccio I’ve tasted.
Main meals are well priced and very well created. Right amount of seasoning.
Highly recommend the tomahawk steak, fantastic taste, and fantastic price. No salt or pepper needed for this one. It’s just perfect.
Wines are good as well, serving local wines.
Restrooms are also really clean, and I was shocked at how up to standard they were. Some USA restrooms in 3 star restaurants don’t even match these.
Highly recommend.

This is my second time there. Last time I had a seasoned server. Today we had a server who appeared to not really care about service. He got my order wrong and argued with me about it. I just said forget it because I didn’t want to have a bad time. We ended up not eating the entry. The waiter never returned to check up on us either. Terrible service… Will probably never return.. an apology would have gone a long way.

Nice, well themed restaurant. Very good service. Parking lot available. Inside and outside seating. The food is very good but prices are a little on the high side. Seafood, meat and poultry available. You will be served a cup of soup and salad with your main dish. the entrees and main dishes are abundant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available. Credit cards accepted..

Good food, good atmosphere, good music as well. A go to for years for me.This time I had the omelette campirano I think was called, very filling and tasty. My companion had machaca omelette or something like that and she loved it. She also loved the cafe de la olla. No space left for the great looking desserts. Good service and ambience.

A beautiful place with a great aesthetic and very interesting areas.
The place is divided in 3 sections on the inside. (1st Floor, Second Floor and Basement) and a beautiful outside garden.
The sun filters through the reed roof of the garden, and the inside has a warm, smokey air from the chimneys burning inside.
Their food is priced fairly, and they serve good portions with plenty of side dishes. Coffee also has free refills and their breakfast menu is really good too.
Several of their side dishes are also all made from scratch, and that smokey home made taste adds so much flavor to all meals.

Our first visit. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Lots of parking. Staff was friendly and attentive. Service was fast. Food was presented beautifully. Not crazy about the food, but it was good. We originally sat inside at one of the booths. Not sure if the chairs were too high or the table was too low, but it was uncomfortable, so we moved to the other area where there was a guy singing Spanish ballads. Seating was much better.
