Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch, and now dinner too on weekends. Jeni’s is unpretentious and homey but goes beyond traditional diner food to provide unique interpretations of comfort food. Baked goods and breads are excellent, as are the many varieties of pancakes and french toast. Great, friendly servers. Prices are very reasonable for the North Fork too.

We came here for a party for our relative over the weekend. We traveled from western Nassau and we didn’t know what to expect in the “off season” out East. We had a very nice meal. The staff was superb, the food was delicious and we liked the hometown feel of the place. We will definitely be stopping back on our way to and from CT via the ferry this summer.

Mothers day brunch was very busy and short staffed. We had a 1pm reservation, finally had food on the table by 2pm. The surf and turf eggs Benedict was subpar for $26. The lobster was so over cooked that it was not edible (brought it home for the dog who wouldn’t even eat it.) Hubbys salmon risotto was very good but could have come with a English muffin or peice of bread. I ordered the shrimp with lemon, capers, artichokes with linguine but it come with rigatoni, they ran out of linguine but didn’t give me a choice to change my order. Overall not a good experience. Will try again but not on a holiday.
