Today my friend took me out for my birthday lunch. We decided to try a new place and had heard really good things about the fish n chips at Bubba’s. We ended up getting 2 entrees so we could try multiple items on the menu.
We had:
Fish
Ribs
Mac n cheese
House salad with ranch
Steamed broccoli
Fire tots
Brownie sundae
Everything was delicious with very generous portions. Whatever the seasoning is that they put on the fire tots takes the tot to a whole new level. The salad was a nice change from the mostly lettuce, tomato, cucumber variety. The ranch dressing was really good with both the tots and the salad. The fish filets were huge, and the coating was perfectly crispy with a richer flavor than most.
Our server, Zhanna, was awesome. She brought out tastes of 2 kinds of sauces for the ribs so we could decide which to get, and then brought a side of the sauce we didn’t select, so we could try it with the ribs too. She was attentive to make sure our experience went well. She asked if we wanted a box, and I said probably 3. I’m pretty sure she eye-balled what we had left and brought out the perfect number and size of boxes and cups to fit what we had left, so each items flavors and crispness could be preserved best. That is a rare and underrated talent.
The manager checked in on us too, which was great. That isn’t something I see often in restaurants anymore, and I feel it’s the best way for the manager to know how well things are going, or not.
Trying a new restaurant for my birthday meal was risky, but Bubba’s did not disappoint. We will be back.

Bubba’s 33 is a sister restaurant to Texas Roadhouse, and you can definitely see some menu similarities, including a few familiar cocktails and steak options. That said, they are quick to point out that their focus is really on burgers and pizzas. With that in mind, we decided to put their burgers to the test.
We tried the Bubba’s Smash Burger and the Bacon Guacamole Burger. The Bacon Guacamole Burger offered a broader flavor profile and really stood out, while the Smash Burger delivered a solid, classic taste. The only downside was that the tangy secret sauce was very subtle and could have been more noticeable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I only wish there were a location closer to where I live.

There was no wait was able to call and request a table for 10 people. We were accommodated greatly. Our server was very nice and fast. The food was good.

We had a party of 9 including 3 children and we were all very well taken care of by our server she filled our drinks and mer every question and request wr had, even from the kids on when they needed refills. The food tasting amazing was just the cherry on top ! We all ordered different things off the menu and everything tasted amazing, it was my first time here and id definitely come again, thank you for the amazing food and service

Update: went to enjoy the Lasagna and free fried pickles. They were a birthday gift from Bubba. Sarah was my waitress, she was great.

For so many years we’ve been coming to this establishment with company employees, family, children, and friends, and we’ve never had any problems until today. Today, after three glasses of beer with friends, a waitress came over and said she couldn’t bring us any more beer, and when we asked why, she said it wasn’t allowed. When we called the manager, he said that the waitress had decided that we shouldn’t drink anymore… we were all in shock. When we asked the manager since when they had such rules, he said that they didn’t want anything to happen to us after we left, for example, if we got into an accident or something happened to us on the street, we would sue them… This is complete nonsense… since when does a waitress, who is at most 22-23 years old, decide what we should do?… After that, we asked for a box to take away what we hadn’t finished eating, but they ignored this and didn’t bring anything.

Had an awesome server she was very good, always checked on us, and the food was food as well. The manager stopped by to also fill us on in the restaurants they have in our cities we live in as we all visited in Denver at the time. The price for items was good for what we had ordered.
