I was really impressed. We ordered take out and when I pulled up I was kind of confused as to where to go. The take out door was a little shady but the kitchen looked clean and we got exactly what we ordered which I thought was great!
But the food was good and flavorful. There was plenty of it. The crab ragoons were really good. The fried rice was very good also.

Not sure what happened to this place, but it is a shadow of it’s former self. So any reviews beyond 1 or 2 stars must be fairly old or know the employees. Haven’t been to this place in a couple years, so went in expecting way better than what happened. Which seems to be a trend here based on other reviews.
It’s take out only, dining area is closed and kept practically dark. No reason given as to why this is. We are well past covid or any other possible reason to still be this way after nearly 6 years since that started.
Food was absolutely terrible. Ordered three different dishes. Two were cooked the traditional way but the breading seemed like it had been previously refridgerated or frozen and reheated. They tasted nearly identical… bland and tasteless. One had three huge pieces of broccoli cut up and thrown into into it that I doubt were even cooked. The last one was what appeared to be store bought or prepackaged breaded chicken cut into strips after being fried. Not even chunks. Just giant strips of breaded chicken. Other than the broccoli, not a veg in sight. Sauces were bland and basically tasted of almost nothing, nothing like the exact same dish we order at other places.
Fried rice was just as bad. Not fried, that I could tell, but it definitely wasnt steamed. Seemed to have some soy splashed into it, but absolutely nothing else. No egg, no vegetables, nada.
The owners and staff should be absolutely ashamed to make and sell what was being passed off as chinese food.
Do yourself a favor and just avoid this place like the plague.

Food was generally pretty good. Hot and sour soup could have had the vegies chopped more finely and could have been a little hotter but did bring water to my eyes – again pretty good
We got Sweet sour chicken, beef with broccoli, shrimp w garlic, general tso, and cashew chckn – will order at China King again – thanks

Tried to order online to so I could pay before I got there because I didn’t have my physical card, but it wouldn’t process. Got there and before I even asked if they had tap pay or mentioned not having my card the man starts muttering about not having apple pay and says “give me the card # (i guess becauseI was holding my phone up in front of me).” I thought that was nice he offered to do that, I was just going to run home and get the card real quick if they couldn’t do that. Then he is muttering more about apple pay and how having to do this is a big waste of time. He processes the payment and I thank him for doing that and leave a tip. I sit down and the next person goes to the counter. He starts making snide comments to that customer about me and apple pay (I don’t have apple pay) and having to do that because once again he stated “it was a complete waste of time.” I spoke up loudly and said how I had tried to pay online but figured what was the point. So I guess the customer service policy at China King is if a paying customer orders from your business but you offer, before that customer even says anything to you, to enter the card that extra 30 seconds makes that $23 order a “complete waste of time.” No it wasn’t as much as some order totals I know, but I had never ordered from there and thought I’d give it a shot. I tried to be appreciative for the extra steps he took so I could pay that way. The food was great, but I think I’ll go somewhere else next time. I like my cashew chicken without a side of snide comments, lol!

Very upset with how my order was handled. To my knowledge, chow mein is a vegetable/meat/noodle stir-fry, and I suppose I should have specified when ordering. However, this coupled with a $6 order of crab Rangoon not making it to the bag, I decided to reach out and make a trip to rectify (my daughters specifically wanted crab Rangoon and noodles). The response was, it’s not our problem you don’t know the menu, make the trip back and you can purchase more. Very disheartening, especially after leaving a $5 tip on a to-go order. Thank goodness we have more options in this town.

Not open for dining in. To go only. Need to better advertise they don’t have dine in. A bit late when you get there to read a poorly written sign.
