Perfect Spot — Arrived by Boat and Loved It!

This was my first time at The Jetty Dock Bar, and it definitely won’t be my last! We arrived by boat, which made the whole experience even better — super easy docking and such a fun way to start the day.

The atmosphere was fantastic — laid-back, lively, and full of good energy. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the live music added the perfect touch.

And I have to say, the crab cakes were absolutely outstanding — and HUGE! You can tell they’re made with real, fresh crab. Easily some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere.

Between the great food, the waterfront views, and the relaxed dockside vibe, The Jetty Dock Bar made an incredible first impression. Can’t wait to come back!

Corina served us the most delicious lunch including fish tacos and a huge crab cake. Amazing seafood spices in each. Loved the potato chips over the fries but both were highly delicious! The weather was a perfect 78 and sunny. We enjoyed the extensive deck seating with cool breezes, comfortable seating and some wonderful shade. This is our new destination when visiting Kent Island.
Loved the bright green colors and the smooth expansive decks the most.

Great place for crabs. The restaurant is right on the shore and with some tide up the road could be easily swapped with water. Do check out weather forecast before going but this makes the visit more fund. Seafood menu is also full of varieties and a nice local spot.

Food and atmosphere were awesome. Service was good and waitress was very kind, just too long in-between drink refills and checking on us for small things.
It may have just been an off day, but we would still stop by again when passing through. Absolutely love that it’s pet friendly so we don’t have to get fast food when traveling with our dogs.
Eating on the dock was awesome and we got visited by some wildlife while enjoying our meals.

Enjoyed crabs by the water today. They were seasoned perfectly. They were very meaty and heavy. Taylor was my server, she was very attentive, pleasant and professional. The Jetty is definitely one of my favorite spots. As much as I don’t like the Baybridge, I’ll drive across it to go to the Jetty.

Our experience at The Jetty started out promising with a live band playing some oldies, which set a nice vibe.

Unfortunately, it quickly went downhill. Dinner was served with plastic wares, which was surprising—especially for a steak dinner. After struggling to cut through my steak with a flimsy plastic knife, I had to flag down the waitress just to get a proper steak knife.
The steak itself was disappointing. The seasoning was uneven—barely any on some parts, and overwhelmingly clumped on others.

To make matters worse, the water view we were looking forward to was constantly blocked by boats docking right next to our table. At one point, someone assisting with docking kept bumping into our table, and the restaurant made no effort to address it.

Between the poor food experience, lack of consideration for guests, and constant disruptions, it seems this is just “the norm” here. I’m never coming back.

Great experience at The Jetty for Valentines Day. The place was busy and we had about a 50 wait. When we had our table, the waitress was quick to take our order and we both ordered the Valentines Day 3 course dinner which was a combination of surf and turf meals, which is what the ambiance of the restaurant feels like. The food was excellent, from the soups to the steaks and crab to the desserts. Very pleasantly surprised to the value of money we were getting. Our waitress came back often to check on us which was appreciated since it was so busy. Would definitely recommend coming back or recommending to family and friends.

‍☠️ THE JETTY – PIRATE REVIEW LOG ‍☠️
Location: Kent Island
Captain: Ben “FullBurn” Woodard
Date of pillage: Present day, with hunger roaring like a nor’easter

The Crab Soup – 5/5 doubloons
Half-and-half like a seasoned sea shanty…rich, deep, and hittin’ every note. This bowl didn’t just warm the bones, it summoned old bay ghosts from the Chesapeake to whisper, “This be top three in Maryland, lad.” Cream met tomato like star-crossed lovers. If I had a second bowl, I’d have married it.

The Crab Cake Sandwich – 2.75/5 barnacles
They claim it be the “best crab cake on the Eastern Shore,” but methinks someone drank too much grog when they wrote that. Maybe best on this side of the Jetty pier, sure, but this buccaneer’s tasted finer treasure in Ocean City and better bounty in Naptown without even breakin’ a sweat.

Too sweet by a mile. Filler ratio sailed dangerously close to Land o’ Betrayal. Texture soft as a deckhand’s handshake. Would’ve been better broiled, but no one offered, strike one. Lettuce limp, tomato tired. The bun held its ground, but even a sturdy hull can’t save a leaky ship.

Atmosphere & Service – 4.75/5 cannonballs
Views off the port bow were solid. Service from the wenches swift and kind (aye, we say it with respect in this ship). Cold drink, quick soup drop, and no sign of mutiny. Ambience was casual dockside grit, good spot for washing off a long sail, but maybe not for crownin’ any culinary kings.

Final Verdict:
“If ye come for the views and brew, drop anchor. If ye come for the cake, raise sails and chart a new course.”

– Captain FullBurn, signing off from The Jetty, where the crab’s sweet, but the truth cuts salty. ️

“Tell the galley to turn down the sugar and toss that filler overboard.”

Went yesterday, Labor Day and they served my child chicken tenders that were not cooked fully. The manager failed to come to the table. I had to request it twice. The manager, which was female, didn’t have much remorse for my child eating chicken tenders that weren’t cooked fully and seemed to have an attitude stating that she was busy. She did not complete a incident report. Not an establishment that I will return to.
