We were waited on right away on a Thursday at noon. I had the white bean burger and sweet potato fries. Those were the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had. The bean burger was good too. It was a very quiet time to eat there.

I picked up lunch at Station 81 this afternoon and was blown away! It was quick and easy to order for take out and pick up but more importantly it was one of the best spicy fried chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

I got the white bean minestrone and the fried brussel sprouts. The soup is very good, and I really liked the fried brussel sprouts. Great place to duck into to stay out of the rain.

The Station 81 burger is on the Happy Hour menu for $6. We ordered 4 of them. Not bad for a $6 burger but wouldn’t want to pay full price. Unfortunately, the Happy Hour burger has the same name as on the menu. Guess which price they charged? Staff said the Happy hour one didn’t come with a side and had only 1 patty. Tried to say she’d told us (she didn’t), then just said “Have a nice day” and walked away. Be sure you know what you’re ordering.

Ok, wasn’t expecting much since this place just recently reopened after COVID. We got the happy hour burgers. They had that nice crust from the grill, were served on a buttered bun, and had sweet pickles. The pickles were a pleasant surprise. The fries, which are separate, were enough for both of us and done perfectly. It was slow but the service was great, considering we were only 1 of 2 being served and it would be easy to hide from customers here if you wanted to. Came back a second time. It was just as good. And I remembered that the canned and bottled beers are also on sale.

Beyond rude service by the “bartender” in grinch sweater. I was checking out the place so my daughter and I could grab a bite and noticed the hours say it was closing at 4. I asked the “bartender” what time does the restaurant close and she responded with a “what” as if she was annoyed. I immediately was thrown off since I asked politely. Then she had an attitude and told me the place is open until 8 as if I was supposed to know. The sign needs to be updated and staff needs to be educated on how to treat potential customers.

We had a terrible experience. We waited for 20 minutes and watched others get waters and have their orders taken. I finally went to the bar and asked if we could get a server to come by. The guy seemed annoyed. I don’t think he realized we had been there for a long time. . The server came over and was nice but we watched others come and go and get their food. At one point a man walked over with 3 waters and gave two to my kids and walked away with the other water. We finally asked them to cancel our order after waiting over an hour and a half and watching all the tables turnover twice. They clearly forgot to put our order in. Everyone else seemed to be having a decent experience but I would not recommend.

Do not get a wedding or catered event from this establishment. Poor and inept service and management. Angel is the only person who knew how to properly run this dive bar/restaurant and was always the best bartender. Many of her regulars will miss her as she was let go for no reason. She never had any infractions or write up and was the only out going professional person in the unnoticeable poorly run place.

They have a white bean sandwich that is to die for as a vegetarian! Served with carrots on the sandwich. Great happy hour and, if you can, join for the jazz night which happens every first Thursday of the month. This is a unique experience well worth coming for!!! Good service as well.

I ordered ahead. Burger fries and wings were perfect. I would like a hotter buffalo sauce option but the wings were cooked perfect. Blue cheese dressing… amazing…Wait-staff was great.
