Our first time here, I give this place 3.5 stars. It’s pretty busy. The place is simply decorated but nothing special. I didn’t even know the name of the place until we stepped in.
It didn’t give the local welcoming kind of vibe. It didn’t really stand out in any way. I didn’t get to do my usual research prior to coming here, so I ordered the standard staples.
1. Loco moco all rice – Hamburger was bland as well as the sad looking gravy. It didn’t give that comforting hug that warms you up with each bite. The burger itself was tough , and I had to cut it with a knife.
2. 2 item combo – Garlic shrimp and bbq chicken with mac salad: Shrimp was a little too chewy, and I was expecting to peel the shrimp. I’m not sure if she took my order wrong. The bbq chicken was the only thing I enjoyed. I was looking forward to the mac salad, but first bite off bat it was salty. Everything after was just as salty.
The lady who took my order was alright. She didn’t have the welcoming vibe. She was more like what do you like, next kind of thing.
Prices were decent. For 2 plates, I paid $30. Would I go here again, probably not.

Great service and amazing food. The Hawaiian BBQ plate is so good. Short ribs , chicken, beef, with rice and Mac salad . All cooked the perfection. The bbq beef burger is shaved beef with full flavor.

So I have a new hobby now ever since I started writing reviews for restaurants, and that is to try out any local lunch specials. Had their orange chicken specials, and it was delicious! Plenty of crispy, sweet, and sour fried chicken served over white rice and a side of macaroni salad. I always ordered a plate of the Hawaiian BBQ mix plate (pure deliciousness), but I ate it before I remember to take pictures. I’ll definitely have to revisit this place for the pictures next time.

Relaxed, informal place to enjoy some Hawaiian style food. It’s always delicious and freshly made! The portions are big and we never leave hungry!

Got the pork laulau it was dry and not very flavorful. The spicy chicken was good but nothing special. Probably won’t be back, with the number of Hawaiian BBQ places around this doesn’t stand out.

Serving is big and good for sharing. Price is reasonable.. Total bill $33.11 Chicken curry, spam misubi, pork bbq cutlet with rice. Would visit again to try more of their menu. Still, there’s always a room for improvement for the dining experience.

We got the Hawaiian bbq mix plate and chicken lumpia, food was delicious and fresh, it was a big portion so it’s good for two. Definitely recommend this place.
