We went based on a recommendation from my coworker. I have driven past this restaurant for many years as from the outside there is no way to tell how nice it is inside. There is a lot of character to this family owned restaurant and the entire staff is not only friendly but willing to talk about the history of the place. We started out with their version of an egg drop and spinach soup and it really was incredible. The method used to create the consistency of the egg is also impressive. The complementary bread which I believe is shipped from New Jersey is outstanding although if you want seconds you will have to pay. The pasta dishes we ordered were vitello alla fabio which I believe is their signature dish and farfalle rustico. The portions are very generous and there was a lot of flavor. I don’t usually order veal so I don’t have
a lot to compare but I did enjoy the meal although veal is not my favorite. I think I would have enjoyed that dish with a different choice of meat as well as a linguini or angel hair pasta instead of the penne. The rustico also had a very nice flavor although not as strong of one as my dish had. I did like the bow tie pasta in that dish. Both meals came with a salad made with their own house dressing. Pretty simple salad but tasted good. We decided to get a dessert which is also shipped from a bakery I think from New York but not definite on that one. We got a limencello cake which was outstanding. The lemon was very strong and flavorful. We really enjoyed our time there and you can tell the customers really enjoy their time there. We will definitely be back to try other meals.

Love this place. Hidden gem in N Ft Myers. The whole family is involved and the care is incredible. I am a huge fan of the pork and vinegar peppers. Reservation very suggested. The angel hair served death row style. Great add.

When you find an Exceptional Restaurant like this you Review it!!! I’d leave more stars if they would allow. I’ve been in Fl 20 years and I regret not finding this place sooner. The food is OUTSTANDING!!!! We had fried calamari bruschetta for appetizer both were amazing.
For dinner, linguine and clams,Chicken Cutlet Parmesan and eggplant combo, chicken franchise, and lasagna each dish was cooked to perfection. The portions are huge and it Tasted like it came straight out of a New York kitchen. It is a family owned an operated restaurant which makes it that much better. I literally felt like I was home. Talk about nostalgia, there are pictures of the whole family all over the place, and Italy Etc! I’d recommend this restaurant for every single occasion from romantic to birthdays…
We were very lucky to get in there without a reservation. We were told you usually need a week or more to get the time that you would like, so definitely call ahead. Also definitely save room for dessert. They make the best Tiramisu you will ever have in your life, It is their mother‘s recipe and Jackie is definitely making their Mom proud.
You will also have the pleasure of having the family members who are the staff come around and personally treat you just like family.
These ladies are a legacy!
You will not be disappointed!!

I can’t believe it took us so long to find this place. A good review on Nextdoor made me wonder, where is this, why have I not heard of it? We’ve lived in the Cape for 12 years and have not been here. Well so glad we did! The food was so good and plentiful. Where else can you get a salad that comes with the dinner? Family owned and operated for 31 years. Mirella our server also a family member and so friendly. Will definitely be back!

Really impressed by this place – the decor, the service and food were all excellent. We were visiting for a sports event and were super hungry after playing all day we just wanted lots of pasta. We didn’t think we would stumble upon such a great find. The service was so friendly and hospitable. Because its family owned the servers really know the Menu. The food was delicious and the vibes were cosy. The lamb shank was delicious as was the pumpkin tiramisu. Highly recommend

We went there on vacation, recommended by our resort liaison and they did not disappoint. The service was wonderful, the restaurant was clean, our waiter was descriptive, the food was impeccable. We had appetizers, meals & 2 desserts and left with lots of leftovers. We will be returning next time we vacation there.

Correction: to the restaurant, thank you for responding honestly. You are absolutely correct, that was meant for a similar Italian restaurant we went to while in Orlando.

However, we did go to your restaurant on 8/29 on the day we returned with friends. Your restaurant is amazing. The waitress was incredibly descriptive and on top of things. She knew that menu inside out & backwards. Our drink glasses were always full. We had the artichoke cheesy dip appetizer which I could eat as a meal, my mouth salivates thinking of it. I got an incredibly delicious chicken & pasta dish, both men at our table got the pasta dish with spicy sausage and left their dishes looking like they licked them clean. They both used the homemade bread to sop up the leftover sauce. Our friends wife had a fish piccata over linguini and loved it. We had a chocolatey dessert that we basically fought over. They had a lemony one if I remember correctly, I was overly focused on my dessert. My only regret is that I didn’t take pictures and that I confused the two places but both were delicious and both deserved glowing reviews. We live locally and will definitely be returning. Sorry for the confusion, my brain must have still been on vacation.

Great place for Italian dishes. Don’t let the plaza location keep you away. The 4 of us ordered different entrees and we were all very happy without meals. Food was fresh, flavorful, with plentiful with us all leaving full. Will definitely go back!

Diner beware-(check your bill). Sadly, after a very simple question tonight if they had tables available we received a head shake no/zero response we feel the need to finally explain our experience over the last few years. We’ve given this restaurant several chances over the years — wrong dishes brought out and told “ oh you’ll eat it”, small service issues — nothing huge to keep us from coming back.

This last visit (last spring), though, really crossed a line. We took out six family members for a birthday and ordered generously. When the bill came, it wasn’t itemized and the total seemed high. We asked if gratuity had already been added, and the owner/server insisted it hadn’t. Only when we requested an itemized bill did she come back apologizing for “accidentally” including the tip.

It was obvious it wasn’t an accident.

That kind of dishonesty is disappointing, especially from a place we’ve supported for so long. It turned what should have been a special celebration into an uncomfortable ending. Sadly, we are done.
