Believe it or not, I’ve never been to the Cracker Barrel. We don’t have them in Canada. So, my husband and I decided to try it while in Florida. I thought it would be awful because I liked fine dining; but I actually enjoyed it for a casual meal. I liked the country-style decor and the attached gift store. We started with a biscuit and a corn muffin each, included in our meals. We then shared crispy battered fried onion bites appetizer with dip. Yummy! We ordered cheaper main meals with smaller portions available from 4-6pm. I had boneless fried chicken breast and choice of 2 sides. I chose mac ‘n cheese and coleslaw. Hubby had grilled chicken breast with carrots and fries. Portions were plentiful. Our main meals were just $10.49us each. I thought it was cute that the cutlery came in a brown paper bag. Our server was very polite and attentive. If you want a quick, casual and inexpensive meal, y’all should go to Cracker Barrel.

I love the store that you walk into when you open the door. They have everything and it’s reasonable. So you can shop and eat. The food was very good. I ordered the Shephard pie. The entire top was covered with crispy potato hash browns. I would definitely order it again. I went with three others that ordered breakfast they all said the pancakes were excellent

We try to plan breakfast at the Cracker Barrel once every trip into the US. We don’t have Caracker Barrel in Southern Ontario. My wife loves wandering through the store. Sometimes, it’s seasonal item’s, Christmas is the store theme at the moment. You can always find healthy choices on the menu. Pecan pancakes don’t count as healthy. Well, we have to take care of ourselves and splurge a little once in a while. Cracker Barrel has been a favorite of ours for over 30 years.

Old country store atmosphere is awesome and fun especially during the Christmas season. My catfish was ok, not great in flavor and a bit over done. Service was good. Did miss the typical games at the table you normally find. Overall a good dining experience.

Updated 11/1/23 11am, seated quickly and order taken quickly but food took a long time, over 1 hour. The food once we got it was MUCH improved over 2 yrs ago. ALL VERY GOOD! One issue with cheesecake pancakes which the server quickly remedied. It is so awfully loud though, hard to enjoy eating, next time maybe try seating outside. Veronica was our server and she did an outstanding job. AAA++++

Had the grilled chicken strip salad to go. Big size. Puny few strips of chicken unlike the photo they advertise. Cost about $13.89. After I added multiple items from home it was good. 2nd time I ordered same salad but 1st time was w fried chicken strips. Both terrible. Even horrible in photos. Will NOT be getting this ever again.

Came out with a new item Sausage and Egg Hash Brown Cassarole Skillet. Very good but heavy. Had to take half home. Very disappointed no corn bread and got charged for apple butter. Wife got the Grandma breakfast. Pancakes and eggs were good. Sausage was too salty. She asked bacon very soft and came crispy. The server was sweet and knew her stuff.

Anytime I eat at Cracker Barrel the food is always amazing and yummy. Huge portions. Extremely nice employees that all work there. I love looking through the store after eating so I can see all the interesting things that they sell.

Most Cracker Barrel locations are well-run and this one is no exception. We’ve eaten here a dozen or so times and the experience has always been positive. We ate here most recently on a Sunday afternoon about 1:00pm. There was about a 5 minute wait for our party 7, which was a pleasant surprise as the wait can be a little long at times.
I highly recommend getting one of their daily specials, especially on Sundays as they tend to be well priced and extra yummy.
