Went w/husband for their Thanksgiving Dinner for the first time. Everything was delicious with LOTS of food, so I took leftovers home. My husband enjoyed his fried turkey meal while I had the traditional dinner. It was super busy, but the greeter, waitress and checkout employee were all very polite. Lots of smiles and we felt like Thanksgiving was abundant among the employees. The manager was going around checking on customers. Impressive! The pumpkin pie was really tasty (extra spices?). Used their app to do “call ahead seating,” so only waited 5 minutes to be seated when we arrived.

Dinner at Cracker Barrel with the family felt like a culinary lottery, and we definitely didn’t win the jackpot. We ordered two steaks: one with shrimp, one with fried chicken. I asked for medium rare, but my steak showed up well done, while my wife’s medium steak decided to swap places and came out medium rare. A real steak identity crisis!

The four-piece fried chicken meal arrived with just three pieces. Maybe the fourth piece took a personal day? We didn’t complain — we just quietly mourned its absence and ate our three-piece “four-piece” meal.

The drinks were another adventure. The root beer was so warm it could’ve doubled as soup, and the lemonade was so sweet I’m pretty sure it gave me a cavity on contact.

We finished with two double chocolate Coca-Cola cakes with ice cream. The icing was so sugary it might have been sponsored by a dentist, but the cake itself was worth the trip.

The real star of the show? The fried chicken: moist, crispy, and clearly the only menu item that hasn’t lost its way. Service was quick and friendly — kudos to the new waitress.

Overall, it’s a typical Cracker Barrel: comforting, and just unpredictable enough to keep things interesting. Just don’t bet on the steaks or the “four-piece” meals.

Cracker Barrel is an okay kind of restaurant and it has the best food that starts in old country and I even tried MaMa’s Breakfast Combo with the Friench Toast and scrambled eggs and sausage. I can’t wait to go back to Cracker Barrel.

We were seated quickly, and waited on quickly as well. Our waitress brought out hot biscuits while we’re waiting for our food, they were delicious. We both ordered the fried catfish, it was hot, I mean really hot. Now, I’ve had their catfish before so I know how it should be, this catfish was not up to par. Most of the edges were like trying to eat catfish jerky, when I finally got to some edible fish, there was a long dark section in it. I tried to eat it, but twice, bit in and twice found these long (maybe an inch) stretchy fibers, so I pushed that aside. All in all, out of the 2 filets, I was able to find maybe 10 good bites of fish, my bf couldnt even eat his. Finally, when we were ready to leave, our waitress was no where it sight. The receptionist basically hunted our bill down in the computer so we could pay and leave. So unlike our normal experience whatsoever.

For my starter here, we ordered the casserole tots, the casserole tots were very good and had decent portion. For the main course, i ordered lemon peppered rainbow trout with a side of steak fries and broccoli. Along with half a basket of biscuits half cornbread. The lemon peppered rainbow trout was overall a good menu option it was a decent portion and tasted good. The basket of rolls and cornbread that was supposed to be half and half had 1 piece of cornbread and all rolls. Next, the service here was very helpful with us ordering, although when we were seated, we sat at a table that wasn’t clean and just wiped off with a couple of napkins by the waitress. The plates we were already done with weren’t taken away, so we hardly had any table space. The atmosphere here is very nice, not so clean but other than that very nice country theme. Side note, The bathrooms smelled bad and were very poorly maintained.

Went here on Thursday September 26th 2024 with my parents as part of our south carolina vacation. This is our first time at this location, but essentially, if you’ve been in one cracker barrel, you’ve been in them all! We went directly to the host stand located in the back. We were immediately sat down at a table. Side note is that we went for breakfast, luckily they do breakfast all day. and it was in the back of the lunch menu. We all started with 3 waters, and 2 coffees. I tried their new cinnamon latte in an ice form with whipped cream. I thought that it was pretty good. Waitress was very nice and constantly refilled our coffees, and waters. We ordered as follows: my mom got the mamma’s breakfast with scrambled eggs and impossible sausage, my dad got the french toast casserole which was new, and i got a short stack of pancakes with impossible sausage. Impossible sausage is their plant based sausage patty, which i thought was pretty good! All of our breakfast was delicous and came out in a timely manner. Waitress was also quick to get our check, and always made sure we were happy. Left a cash tip on the table, and paid up front. Store is huge and has some nice stuff, although a little pricy. Restrooms were also clean. Hope to be back on our next trip!

Asked for crispy bacon, it was hard to eat. Asked for cream for my tea, was given a small milk container, did not want their homefries special–just plain homefries–was charged extra for them. Waitress was very pleasant and helpful. The chairs were not comfortable, hard wood —try siting on them for an hour.

I have come to this location a few times with my boyfriend, and we have always had nice experiences. We have never had to wait for a seat, and the service is typically excellent. The food comes out in minutes after placing the order, and it is delicious. Their food is consistently good. The store that they have has nice items, some of which can only be found there.

It was busy and a little bit loud inside the restaurant, but we were able to talk and have conversations with each other. The service was good and the server was nice and friendly. The food was also good and enjoyable. This is a good restaurant and I’ve been here when the service and food has been great. Some days are better than others when dining at Cracker Barrel.

I usually go to this restaurant with my husband and eat in. This was my first order I placed to pick up.
The food and service is always good. They have daily specials and the prices are reasonable.
