That last time I went to Senior Fish was 15 years ago in their original location. I always got the fresh fried fish tacos and ordered the same today and was not disappointed! The current location is huge and it wasn’t too busy when we ordered our lunch, but it took awhile to get because they made everything fresh. The other people with me ordered the chicken quesadilla and fish tacos with chips and guacamole. Parking can be difficult, but there are many garages in the area. We went to visit Little Tokyo after our lunch and it was only a few blocks away. I highly recommend the fried fish tacos – it was on the original menu and it’s $5 per taco (2 corn tortillas with chopped up fried fish covered with shredded fresh cabbage pico and drizzled with cream) and during lunchtime they often have a lunch special where you can get two tacos chips and salsa or rice and beans with a drink for under $15.
Highly recommend for lunch!

Señor Fish on Olvera Street is an absolute gem in the heart of Los Angeles. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and a vibrant atmosphere that instantly transported me to the streets of Mexico.

The menu at Señor Fish is a delightful journey through authentic Mexican cuisine. Whether you’re craving tacos, burritos, or seafood specialties, they have it all. I highly recommend trying their fish tacos, which are simply out of this world. The fish is perfectly seasoned, tender, and served in a warm tortilla with a medley of fresh toppings that add an explosion of flavors to every bite.

The service at Señor Fish is exceptional. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. They are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations based on your preferences.

Señor Fish is a casual, laid-back spot famous for its fresh seafood and Baja-style Mexican dishes. Their fish tacos, ceviche, and shrimp burritos are flavorful and generously portioned. The relaxed atmosphere and affordable prices make it a popular choice for seafood lovers looking for a quick, tasty meal.

Food was pretty mid, tacos took 45 minutes when it wasn’t busy, and the place looks half abandoned.

Exceeded expectations. Big menu. Large restaurant with tables and couches. Chips and guacamole and salsa was good with 3 salsas. Salmon fresh and perfectly cooked. chips were room temperature and not of the utmost freshness. But still good. Salsas excellent.

I’ve walked by Señor Fish so many times but never went in. Well today while exploring downtown Los Angeles I finally went in for some nachos and margaritas. It was a great decision. Señor Fish had the carne asada nachos that I was craving. The crane was nicely seasoned and marinated and the chips were crisp. It was I needed after an afternoon of walking around DTLA. The margaritas were also good but I would imagine they’re even better when the restaurant is fully open post pandemic. Señor Fish has a spacious patio a full bar and a roomy interior. Their menu is extensive which leans seafood since their name is…well Señor Fish. As an added bonus, you can watch all the doggies on the near by park play.

The food is not worth the price. You can easily find better burritos for half the price. I dont recommend this place at all. Very puzzled how they’re still in business because it seems like a try it once and regret it type place. Save the trouble of checking this place out and go elsewhere

Do not recommend ordering online. They cancelled order 45 minutes after order originally being placed.

Can’t believe I’ve skipped this place for so many years. It’s convenient, the location is spacious and good for groups or just along a break from the office and grabbing a bite.
A quick walk from our office, so I see why it’s a common meet up spot for the downtown employees.
The food! Wow, the shrimp taco was solo good. I wish I ordered two. The servings are generous. I shall return soon!
