I had Fried Rice and Chow Mein with Orange Chicken, Honey Sesame Chicken and Beijing Chicken. Side of Cream Cheese Rangoon. So delicious! My favorite is always the Cream Cheese Rangoon though drizzled or dipped in sweet and sour sauce.
I always, always, always order WAY too much! But I love variety, switching it up for every bite and some good Chinese food, so it’s worth it, I guess.
Definitely a recommended location for some Chinese food.
Amazing at cutting me off repeatedly as I was trying to order, she wouldnt let me finish saying each item im ordering by cutting me off with “pull up to the window” as i say the next each item 0.01 seconds
“Pull up to the window”
The proven usual drive thru script of “will that be all?” After the customer finishes ordering routine is too complex for ilori.
Why would you try to complete my order after every item ?
So i missed a drink and havent paid yet and i said “sorry i forgot can i add a drink before i pay” and she says blank facial expression “i have a line you can go back around” and I ask again “please can I just add it now?”
How would a 20 min round trip for a drink just because Ilori has a line make sense?
But she just repeats that to me over and over again with a straight face repeatedly “i have a line go back around” a 2 second job to make a drink while theyre still scooping and boxing my order would be a stretch too far.
Makes sense because if she let me add a drink to my order that would be a couple extra dollars for panda.
And she hates her job so why would she help me or them? Thats not her M.O
Would have took her 2 seconds to do but she prefers to be difficult, rude and unhelpful to customers at the window instead.
Any normal drive thru worker would say “sure no problem”
I am sure she is a joy to work with, i really do have pity for the rest of the riverview panda staff because if they have to be around that ball of negativity for a shift. If what i experienced after only 1 min interaction with her I can only imagine the drain of an entire shift. She cursed me out while i drove off laughing was the cherry on top. Chefs kiss!
ILORI =I.Love.Objecting to.Reasonable requests.Instantly
Have a great day ilori!
Also, the drive thru is so focused on getting you in and out, they practically throw everything at you. If we want chopsticks, soy sauce or anything else, I’ve started asking for it at the ordering. If we wave them down after they give you the order, the employees look at you like, “what are you still doing here?” A little more service and chow mein go a long way, I’m just saying.
Meanwhile, my husband was waiting on his second portion of food since they had run out. After waiting quite a while, he said he would just take a little extra from what was already on his plate and pay the difference. The same cashier who handled my drink seemed annoyed and told him, “I don’t think you can do that, the teriyaki chicken is almost done.” She then went in the back, whispered to her lead, and they both laughed as if we were being difficult. That felt very unprofessional and disrespectful.
Thankfully, another worker came to help us and gave my husband the extra portion with no issue at all. But the entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth. If employees dislike their job so much that they laugh at customers for asking reasonable questions, they should not be working in food service. I won’t be returning to this location.
