Have been come here for dinner for 4 years. Especially like the variety of appitizer we can choose from. All kinds of deep fried item, tempra, grill ika/beef/pork. For the main dish I like unaju, upon and chirashi. They have good sushi too. The only. thing not so perfect is they don’t have very many choice on desserts. Only ice cream and mochi ice cream.
Overall, highly recommend.
The sushi on the other hand was a bit of a mixed bag. It is true that we are thousand miles away from the ocean but at the price of about five dollar per piece, I had higher expectations. The octopus sushi was very rubbery and had way too much wasabi. Fatty tuna is a hard find and I was surprised to find it here! Really delicious fish and salmon was big and fatty. The sushi rice was cold and not held together very well.
Overall, enjoyed it and no bad for Cincinnati!
I couldn’t express my grateful towards the fact they are running the business here!!!!!!
As an Asian living in America, I am so sick of American Asian food taste so plain and trashy. But this place is the real deal. 5/5!!!!!!
Our waiter was S (he said to call him that so I will). He was a cool, friendly, and made sure we had what we needed and that our glasses stayed full. Props to you, S
I had the Ramen. Definitely better than I expected! The noodles were the authentic thick Japanese ramen noodles, the broth was fantastic, and the egg was soaked perfectly with…I think it was soy(?) and it was delicious.I also ordered Squid Sushi (picture on the right in the long dish). It was delicious; the squid was both tender and chewy but also spicy and only burned while I ate it(as in it didn’t leave a lingering burning feeling afterwards)
My sister had the Yakisoba. It was the best she had ever had. The flavors of the noodles, veggies, and spices blended together beautifuly. She also ordered the Avocado Roll(6pc avacado sushi). It was not what we expected with avocado sushi – it was better than we had both expected, being somewhat sweet with a consistent texture
All-in-all a 5-star experience! Will definitely be back if we come through Kentucky again
PS
I ordered iced Tea-monade(Arnold Palmer, half and half, whatever you want to call it). S said he never made that before – he did good 🙂
