1st time at this Salvatore but have been to several others. In my opinion Salvatore is the best Italian restaurant in fort wayne area for quality and quantity of food and this location is no exception. Food was fantastic. Service was exceptional, I never once had to ask to get our drinks filled. I will definately come here again

My husband and I have been going to Salvatori’s since we were teenagers, enjoying little date nights here and there. We’ve loved their food for almost 10 years now. I don’t normally write reviews, but the Waynedale location truly went above and beyond tonight.
We had a small issue with our food—not a big deal at all. Things happen, and this is only the second time in 10 years we’ve experienced anything like that, which speaks to how consistent Salvatori’s usually is. The staff immediately offered to remake my dish, which I happily accepted, and even gave us a $10 voucher for a future visit—totally unnecessary, but very appreciated.
When we went to check out, we discovered that someone had paid for our meal. We’re not sure who, but we suspect it may have been a staff member. Regardless, we were incredibly touched.
We are so thankful for the amazing staff and manager at the Waynedale location. This kind of kindness and customer care is rare and means so much. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful food and HUGE portions. I’m not exaggerating when I say that my entree could feed 3-4 people and my husbands calzone was enough for 2!
Service- our waitress was attentive and kept up with things. The manager was also very hands on, helping staff and not at all hesitant to jump in where needed.
When we pulled up we were surprised to see that they share a building with a gas station, but when you step in the restaurant you totally forget it. The atmosphere feels like any other nice eatery and even though in the same building it’s completely separate with no walkway in between – it truly more of a shopping strip.
Highly recommend the bruschetta, Caesar salad, and shrimp tortellini when available/on special.

Artistic Roots
Let me tell you how much of a FIND this amazing restaurant is! DO not skip this place up. We had to make a trip to Ft Wayne Airport to pick up an out of town guest all the way from the Bahamas. We found this delicious place by chance, but it won’t be any longer… we will be making the 1.25 hr trip each way on purpose because the food is that good! The entire staff was super nice, accommodating when we asked for a corner booth, made recommendations about pasta choices, and made sure our meal was served perfectly. We ordered the breadsticks with two dipping sauces that were so amazing we wished we could take more home in a jar! We also ordered a shrimp pasta that was delicious and so large we could share it between three people, with more to take home. We also got an amazing white pizza with chicken that was out of this world! The server boxed up the leftovers and we knew we would be back! To our surprise, we arrived back to home, and discovered we left a purse with very important documents behind. We called and they let us know the bag was safe and secure, and that we could return immediately for it even tho it would be right past closing time. We turned right around and came back to the restaurant where they handled the situation with such professionalism and a listening ear. Everything inside the bag was just as it was when we left it behind. We want to thank this establishment and its employees for amazing service and outstanding food and unbelievable honesty in a sometimes not so kind world. We truly felt they went above and beyond in our circumstances.

It’s in a gas station. Almost every table was filled and the wait staff was very attentive! Got my food to go with a house beer for the wait while my food was prepared. I have had worse service in a five star restaurant!

My girlfriend’s dad took me out for dinner. I don’t like Italian unless it’s pizza but he insisted that we go here for dinner. My thoughts were that it’s attached to a gas station this is gong to be terrible. But while walking in I could smell what they were cooking and it smelled amazing! After walking in I was greeted by a very personable and nice hostage. Our waitress was very nice as well! Our food was amazing and the portions were enough that I’ve got 3 meals out of the leftovers. I can’t wait to go back!

I am always pleased. I was a bit confused as to your stuffed pepper special. I do not understand why the pepper was cut into bite size peices and then topped with the stuffing. That’s NOT a stuffed pepper. However, I will not lower my stars as this restaurant always makes me feel right at home!

Last night had the worst potatoes dish; dry stale with no garnish, no Olive Oil, nothing! It was awful. It’s not this place’s first time. Also their ground beef Ravioli with Gardinieri was over $20 for burnt stale stuffed pasta. This location is a dud, not to be compared to their Washington Center Road one. Skip this one for that one and you will thank me.
