This was my first time trying this place since I usually go to Jason’s Deli, but decided to try here since I liked what I saw on the menu. I ordered from Uber Eats, I ordered the BLT + avocado, a side of potato salad, and the red velvet cheesecake. The potato salad was great, and so was the sandwich until I bit into something super hard. I thought it might have been a piece of the bacon but when I looked at the sandwich and inspected it a bit I realized it was the avocado. I’m not kidding when I say this avocado is as hard as a rock. I’m not even done eating and I had to post this. From this photo you can see the indents that two pieces made on the bread from the other half of my sandwich, the bread is caved in due to how hard this avocado is. I just don’t understand? The person who cut this knew that it wasn’t ready to eat? It’s not hard to tell if an avocado is too hard and not ripe? Why would they serve me an unripe avocado? I would post a video of me whacking it with a metal knife but I guess videos aren’t allowed on google reviews. Everything else tasted great and they hooked the sandwich up with bacon, but this avocado man. I’m not sure how else to show how hard it is except the massive indent it left in the bread. It’s not like the bread is overly soft either.

I would not recommend ordering from this establishment. They rely on a third‑party delivery service, and when items are missing, they take no responsibility for resolving the issue. Instead, they defer entirely to the third party, leaving customers without support and without reimbursement. Additionally, the food did not match the photos presented and was disappointing in both taste and appearance. Overall, this was an unsatisfactory experience.

I will start off that they have really nice and friendly staff. I ordered Cuban and honestly it’s just bland and kinda sad. All I taste is the yellow mustard and the pickles, I almost didn’t even notice the meat because the lack of flavor. Despite what the menu says “Tangy” is not what I’d describe the pulled pork at all, I tried it on its own and I’d put “Bland” instead. It’s just a mess.

We stopped by New Year’s Day, there was nobody inside. Walked to the counter and the staff was friendly. I ordered a smokehouse bbq spud. Was edible but no flavor in the bbq or Mac and cheese. The bf ordered a half Italian sub and chili. The sandwich was tiny, bread was stale and hard as a rock and the chili was just canned hot dog chili. Very disappointing for McAlisters. Do better!

I ordered online guest curbside. Order set to be ready 15 min from order at 830pm. I arrived about 25 min late and they informed me when I called to have someone bring the order out that they “ran out of chicken for the Southwest Chicken & Avocado Salad, so you want no meat or another meat? ” i sub turkey on the salad. Of course I want meat, I didn’t order plain salad. I go inside (no one at counter) to wait since my order will not be made accordingly- there’s only 1 customer in the entire store besides me and they’re eating. I’m informed the salad is being made. Few minutes later I get my order. I get home 15 min away and the Spicy Turkey Melt that I ordered with cibatta- the BREAD ROCK HARD AND CAN NOT EAT IT. there’s no way with me even being late to pickup that the bread is rock solid from just sitting, it would just be cold. The “turkey” i chose since they “ran out of chicken” is just sprinkles of tiny cut-up pieces of turkey and not even the slices used for the sandwiches- it was something you sprinkle on the potatoes. The salad is a rip-off and the sandwich isn’t edible. The chili was still temperature enough to eat. The fruit cup was mediocre.
The recurring problem with this location is its a bunch of kids “working” socializing and no one at counter, and no management around. They must not have been properly trained. Obviously McAlister, this store’s management, and the employees do not pride themselves, nor care about the quality of the food. I wasted my time and gas coming to your location when your surrounded Wall to wall with competitors. I’m so disgusted with this food, I wasted 20$. This is not the first time POOR QUALITY FOOD has been served. that’s why it’s been so long since I’ve ordered here. My dogs won’t even eat this rock hard bread.

This was not the skibo location this was the Fayetteville state location. I usually never complain but this time was very necessary. So I didn’t get my ranch and I paid 3.49 for extra protein (grilled chicken) on what was already a grilled chicken salad so you’d expect it to be heaping with chicken and there is barely enough to enjoy a piece of the salad on here. I paid about $14 all together for this salad that I asked for boiled egg and got avocado on. Im really annoyed because I keep telling myself not try new things because when I do this happens. I over spend and I am under compensated for it . Probably won’t be back again ♀️ The chicken isn’t even the same as what was advertised !!!
