This was my 2nd visit to Croaker Spot and the 2nd time was just as good as the first. Our family of 6 was promptly seated. Very little wait time. Our Server ”Carlisa” always had a smile and was very helpful with our menu choices. My son had just played a soccer game so I appreciate her keeping him supplied with water. The food…OMG. No complaints from anyone. The yams and collards greens were my favorite (from my plate), but I sampled the perfectly fried fish and creamy grits from another plate. Everything was Delicious! I could eat there every week. The music was also a treat. There was one server who didn’t mind expressing his love for certain songs. The impromptu entertainment was a plus.

Croaker’s Spot never fails. We went here for a family dinner of 7 and got right in no issues. Everything was cooked perfectly and very delicious. Perfect Mac n cheese and cornbread sides. The catfish was on point and so were the greens. We will be back for years to come.

I love this place. The food is always hot and fresh. The service is always attentive and kind. The atmosphere is cozy and calming. I took off one ⭐️ because it takes a while to get your food. Once the food arrives, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this place for great food, service, and atmosphere. Just make sure you have the time available to wait for your delicious meal.

Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday night. It was quiet snd we were seated quickly. Our server was friendly and answered all of our questions authentically. The portions were HUGE. We both had the catfish meal. The sides were delicious (especially the Mac & cheese). No room for dessert but we’ll definitely be back!

When a quick change of plans really works out in your favor-
We originally had planned to have food at another restaurant nearby to Croaker’s, but they were closed. We went in and were seated within 5 minutes even with them being quite busy. Our waitress and all of the staff were so kind. They also have inclusive bathrooms which is always appreciated. When we got our food everything was absolutely delicious. My husband was speechless. He’s a cook himself at a restaurant where we’re from. I’m posting a picture of his plate before and after. Don’t worry, he took the cornbread leftovers home. We will absolutely be back!

Been on my radar for years and while traveling decided to stop in. The dining experience was nice. Arrived at a good lunch time with no wait for seating. Ordered the stuffed salmon with cabbage, shrimp and scallops, corn bread, small side collards and of course the Mac&Cheese . All choices were delightful. Above average pricing but had great portion. I couldn’t eat it all. The cornbread alone could feed two people. Definitely a nice spot to visit if you’re in the Richmond VA area, looking for seafood and ambience.

On a impromptu girl’s day trip my friend’s and I decided to have lunch/ dinner somewhere different. We chose Croaker’s Spot in Richmond. Not much of a long wait,once seated our orders were taken and within 15 minutes we were having some of the best food. Seasoned to perfection Chicken wings, Fish, collard’s, Mac and cheese, Yam’s.. The cornbread alone I’d definitely recommend dining here and the prices aren’t to bad and the atmosphere was nice airy and light. You’ll enjoy
