Reviews
Cleanliness was a big issue. The bathrooms were genuinely unpleasant — strong odors, not well cleaned, and overall unsanitary. There was also a strange smell throughout the venue, which made the experience uncomfortable and gave the impression of poor upkeep.
The atmosphere was chaotic and overcrowded, with people everywhere, yet the service did not match the volume. Staff seemed overwhelmed and unresponsive, and service was slow and sloppy. Requests took a long time, orders were missed, and there was very little sense of coordination or management.
Food quality was also very poor. The food felt rushed, low quality, and not up to what you’d expect for the prices charged. Presentation and taste were both disappointing, and it added to the feeling that standards have slipped significantly at this location.
Overall, this place feels run down, smelly, and poorly managed. It’s the complete opposite experience of the Pompano Beach Topgolf. We would not return to this location and would strongly recommend choosing another Topgolf if you want a better experience.
I do have an issue with the pitcher as well. For $30, one would think that they’d get a FULL pitcher of beer at that price.
During our initial arrival, we were greeted and told to go to the check in desk for our reservation. Upon checking in, we were given loud and demanding instructions to “move” not even 1 second after we finished checking in by a young woman that wasn’t helping us in the first place. This was an eyebrow raiser but nevertheless, we were early and decided to go to the bar for drinks. We gave our order to the bartender, who was very nice. For a group of 5, it took roughly 30 minutes to get our drinks which were unfortunately wrong but corrected roughly 1.5 hrs into our 2hr reservation which had to be rectified by 3 different people including the manager. This is the kicker. Our first encounter with the manager started off okay and ended very poorly. She informed me that because I made a reservation for 2 bays but only kept 1 after all, that I could not be refunded for my initial deposit which I understood. But after informing her of dish sponge-like material being found in our drinks, which were already watered down after not coming to the table on time as well as having the wrong order, things took a drastic turn. Instead of rectifying the situation and giving us the drinks we asked for, she proceeded to bring the bartender from downstairs and have him explain to us that he gave us the “right” order based on his knowledge after we told him it’s wrong. After speaking with him, he recognized that he gave us drinks we didn’t ask for and gave us the correct drinks about 30 minutes later. We told him that we didn’t like the managers attitude and he brought her to the table and she gave a half assed apology. She mumbled as if she didn’t have the vocal capacity to apologize to the whole entire table and walked off before we could actually speak with her about what bothered us about her behavior. Once the night was over and we were paying to leave, already agitated by previous events, a man approached us with already a condescending attitude saying “i can’t split the bill 9 different ways” when we didn’t ask for that. We asked if we could split the bill 4 ways and he proceeds to roll his eyes and shake his head saying he doesn’t have the training or capacity to do that. So you’re telling me that at this establishment, you’re only capable of only splitting the bill 3 ways? What if people wanted to pay individually? What if nobody had the capacity to send money to another? How would you receive payment? It’s completely unacceptable and at that point we were convinced that they just had an underlying issue with us. Joaquin, please check your attitude when addressing paying customers. On top of that, I didn’t appreciate how when someone gives you a law enforcement ID to receive a discount, you hold the ID up to his face and stare extra hard at it as if it’s not obvious that is who is in the ID picture. Making comments “you could be a twin, I had to make sure” now you’re just being sassy and disrespectful. Both Joaquin and the manager took a 5 minute intermission across the hallway flaring hands in the air, pointing and rolling eyes. We let both managers know that we were displeased with their tone and passive aggressive tendencies and they acted as if we were the problem the entire night. Completely terrible, and unprofessional service. Overall, the only pleasant service we received was being checked in by the gentleman during our initial encounter, the bartender and server. I honestly feel bad for whoever works under the management because they honestly suck. If I knew the managers name I’d honestly put it here too. Good luck.
