We live 1/4 mile from this CB. Went there last night (Friday) 6:20pm. Dining area wasn’t even half full. We were seated immediately, placed order. After 15 minutes our young waiter told us the kitchen was backed up but food should be up soon, would we like anything while we waited. I said how about some bread. 20 minutes later and still no food, no bread. 7:10 we got up and walked out. 50 minutes waiting for food. We went to Strawberry Plains exit Cracker Barrel. Walked in, sat down ordered within minutes and had our food in about 10 minutes.

Always a favorite. Love their food. Really wish they had sweet potatoes & sweet potato casserole daily since it’s southern. Southern food involves sweet potatoes y’all. Lol
Either way I get the breakfast because I can’t get sweet potatoes. French toast is LIFE there! Nothing else matters when I get that French toast.
My husband loves the Sunday Chicken. He’s also sad over the sweet potatoes. The sides could be a LITTLE bigger. Other than that everything is great!

We have eaten at this location since it first opened and we still eat there regularly. The service is hit or miss. The experience is never really great, but its okay. The food and the experience are not what they used to be. I hope they figure out how improve the quality of the food and put together a more reasonably priced lunch menu. If you are looking for a Cracker Barrel, this location is okay.

Good atmosphere with good food. There was 9 of us. Half of the table got their food first and the other half took a while. We were almost done eating by the time they got their food. I guess the server was overwhelmed. Other than that the food was good. It’s always fun to browse around the store. Clean bathroom.

Didn’t feel very welcomed from the hostess staff when we first arrived. We were given a menu written in Spanish. I might look Mexican, but I can’t speak it and certainly can’t read it. The waiter was very unresponsive didn’t come back and check on us. We didn’t get one of the meals that we ordered. The gravy was in a broken bowl. He wrote it down wrong. The food was very bland. We give this visit one star.

Second visit has been a total bust. I don’t know if they’ve lost all the great people they had just a couple weeks ago when we visited or if it’s just an off day, but WOW! Night. and. Day! Burnt, rubbery pancakes. Doorstops instead of biscuits. Biscuit Beignets made weird. And, half our food was Miss right off, so we had to go round and round to get everything… which was then mostly inedible.
Yeesh. Kill my celebration won’t ya…
The manager did make things as right as possible and gave us fresh food to go…

The food was exceptional! Our server (Sarah) was quick, efficient and friendly. She took excellent care of us and never once made us feel rushed! Shopping was a bit dangerous (lol) because I found so many cute things I just had to have.
Highly recommend this location! Ask for Sarah!

Id like to say my server was kind and helpful. Great service. I feel the issue here is management. My bowl (the brocolli) had some yellow substance crusted to it so, I didn’t eat it. My friends plate had a hair on it. And this was how my “chicken tenders” was brought out, i didn’t even get a regular fry. This was absolutely unacceptable to serve. I asked manager to comp my meal as I didn’t eat it and was very polite and explain the situation. She clearly thought I was just another complaint and took 5 dollars off so I would be quiet and go away. Very unsanitary.

Everything but the food gets 5 stars. My eggs weren’t scrambled like I asked… The sausage was the nastiest I’ve ever eaten… And I do mean horrible… I only do breakfast at CB but I’m not sure if I will again after this bad experience. I will say that our waitress was polite.

Absolutely horrendous carside to-go. Order was supposed to be ready at 3:45 and it didn’t come out until 4:45. Spent an hour sitting in my car, calling multiple times to repeated claims that “they’re working on it”. And when it did come out it was missing an entire meal. Had to go in and waited another 15-20 minutes before they managed to get that for me. Got home and found out they also didn’t provide gravy for 2 of the meals, and there were no biscuits to speak of. One of the meals was only half edible because one portion of meat was so overcooked a knife wouldn’t even cut through it.
