Enjoyed dining at Bubba’s with family. Fun atmosphere with several TV’s for watching sports. Excellent service and our waitress even brought out a cookie dessert for our family members celebration. Loved the food, couldn’t eat the whole double burger had to take it home. Definitely would encourage others to visit Bubba’s on Pat Booker in San Antonio TX.

Greetings & Salutations.
Since moving here from CT last August I haven’t gotten out too much to get myself a treat. I tend to just eat the same thing each and every night. I want to say that this Fish & Chips which I got tonight is SOOO!!! good. The tarter sauce is absolutely delicious. Mix a little bit of hot sauce in and stir it up. CHEFS KISS!!!!
The young girl who took my take out order couldn’t have been any nicer, kind and understanding.
I’ll certainly be back.

Ordered to go and food wasnt ready until almost 20 mins AFTER the scheduled pick up time. Fries were absolutely trash and i couldnt eat them. I tried them in the parking lot but didnt feel like going back in to have better ones. Boneless wings were ok…nothing special. Third and last time going there.

Lastnight 2/27/26 my daughter wanted to treat us( mom and dad) to dinner. She chose bubbas because we use to go almost every Friday. After covid hit we went and had some pretty bad service. We thought ok that was a one time thing. We went again and then the wasnt so great. It’d been maybe 8 months since we had been. Lastnight was the best service ive had with any restaurant. All because our sever Leo. From the moment we sat down he greeted us. Told us he be with us in a moment to take our drink order. Once he came back he we very personable. Took the food order and repeated the order back 3 times just so we knew he was listening. From the time we go there to the time we left it was a pleasant visit. LEO deserves some recognition. We will return and hopefully have Leo as our server. Not too many people like Leo.

The staff were extremely friendly and eager to help! Our waitress (whose name is Faith) was extremely helpful and checked on us regularly! Her genuine character of wanting to serve us with world-class customer service was greatly appreciated! The food was PHENOMENAL and Delicious! The garlic knots are a must! The house salad (yes-salad) was delicious and the veggies were crisp! The chicken fried chicken, pastas, onion rings (THE BEST I’ve ever had), chicken sandwiches that were ordered were flavorful and cooked to perfection!
Next time I’m up here again visiting my family, we’ll definitely stop by again! God bless!

Finally found out how good this place is and been loving every visit since our first. Working on having everything on the menu and what we have had so for is very good and that goes for the excellent drinks the spectacular bartenders they have on tap. LoL Truly a step up for us who enjoyed going to Chili’s. Not going there for a long while, thank you Bubba’s 33.

Wife and I came here Thursday for lunch…I had the shotgun shrimp po boy and onion rings. My wife had the 12oz grilled ribeye with mashed potatoes and side salad. She said the steak was fantastic (I’ll see when I have the leftovers on Monday). The “side” salad is huge!! and she said the mashed potatoes were very good also! The shotgun po boy is stuffed I added sauteed mushrooms and onions… and it was good.. I thought the shrimp should have been a little more spicy… the onion rings were very good too! Tiffany our server was spot on… with refills and suggestions and was very friendly! As usual… I forgot to get pictures!!

The price of my bill went UP after I asked about a military discount!! And not just one or two dollars…
My husband and I went on a date here on wednesday night. We were there to watch the lakers and the spurs game and it was fairly empty so we had high expectations.
We got seated right away. Our waiter was fantastic, even though it took a long time to get our drinks and the ONE meal we ordered came out in parts.
Fast forward to when it’s time to pay.
The bill is $45.00. Cool. No problem. I asked them to add my military discount as I am a veteran and it states on their menu they honor the discount on certain menu items on Wednesdays. How does my bill then go UP TO over $50!?
It turns out the manager had accidentally. added an improper discount to my meal which resulted in the original $45 charge. Now my meals over $50… I don’t mind paying the difference (and we did) but for the manager to not offer any kind of apologies or anything. Really? It was kind of just like a “Oh well, we messed up. Deal with it…” kind of situation that’s just really unacceptable.
And to be honest, there is no reason the original price couldn’t be honored. You put it on our bill, let us see it and then increased the price…
But I’ve already shared my incident with my family and my friends and we won’t bring our money here anymore. It was our first time here and our last time here as well.
