Absolutely delicious! I was here at about 4:30 on a Saturday, it was mostly full but my party of 2 only waited a minute for a seat. We primarily ordered sashimi (which was excellent) and also tried a variety of rolls and fried dishes. Favorite items were the grilled squid, grilled salmon, calamari, and fried oysters. The “Burlington” sushi roll was our favorite roll by far, try it if you like crunch!

Absolutely amazing experience at Sumo Sushi & Grill! The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The sushi rolls were perfectly made, and the grill dishes were cooked just right. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and has a really nice atmosphere. Definitely one of the best sushi spots in Burlington can’t wait to come back!

Came here for lunch on a weekday with my family after looking for a restaurant to eat and wasn’t expecting AYCE sushi in Burlington. There are different pricing tiers and highly recommend the gold tier which was $19.95 per person for lunch as you get to try everything except for certain drinks that cost money.
Everything is ordered via their online site and they have restrictions on how much you can order for certain duration (15 items every 15 minutes). They have a self-serve counter with items like salads and deep fried stuff. All the things we ordered from the online menu was great (see all pics) and nothing was bad.
The restaurant atmosphere was relaxing and service was great. Would come back here again in the future.

We stumbled across Sumo Sushi & Grill AYCE on our way back home. For adults the lunch gold was $20 and child up to 12 yrs old was $12 which was decent for the amount amd type of food offered. Better than fast food for sure!
Besides the buffet bar items you order the made to order rolls and items online thru their app which is great! The sushi rolls were just the right amount of rice and not too much so you can try more. The chef recommended rolls were delicious! Everything else was great. A Robot brought our our rolls and items ordered on the app.
All in all a very good experience eating there. Strongly recommend to try if in the area. Prices seem to differ by location it seems.

Three price points: buffet only, silver, and gold. The limits of 15 items per 15 minutes regardless of party size, so it doesn’t make a lot of sense for larger groups, though the server was able to override the max. The plates are small and beverages count as an item. We had 5 adults, so each person can essentially pick 3 items per round. Go quick on the first round with a drink and two appetizers each. Can order on their tablet or via your phone. Food comes out on a robot, so that was fun.

We stopped in for lunch and were sat straight away. Restaurant was beautifully renovated though floors were a bit slippery so be careful. We opted for the Silver option and were pleased with the variety and everything we tried was excellent. We had hand rolls, rolls, tapenyaki and a beef bowl. We skipped the Appetizer and Dessert buffet as we were more interested in trying an array of sushi. However, picky eaters should be able to find something they like on the menu. Service was fast and hand delivered. We saw the robot make a delivery once which was fun but as busy as it was preferred the hand delivery and smiles of our wait staff. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Good price for unlimited sushi! We paid $26.95 each.

Fun experience, plenty of food for the price. Robot servers were pretty fun, real servers were very kind and helpful. My only complaint was the crayfish were overcooked and pretty gamey. Everything else was awesome. It was super busy, and pretty loud. Overall, I recommend giving it a go! The food was yummy. Do not recommend for people that get overstimulated by loud busy noise, unless you bring noise canceling headphones.

Everything we ordered was really good! It was a bit confusing at first as there are two options (silver menu or gold menu) but it’s a really neat concept. They have a few robots that bring out some of the food! The decor was really well done.

There’s also a small hot bar with fried rice and a few other items, but we mainly came for the sashimi and nigiri, which did not disappoint.
One thing to note: ordering is done by scanning a QR code, and you can only order up to 15 items at a time. After that, there’s a 15-minute wait before you can place your next order. We didn’t realize this at first, so we had to wait a bit before our next round—but it wasn’t a big deal once we got the hang of it. Just make sure to order enough to enjoy while you wait!
