The pie is THE BEST anywhere. We live out of state and every time we are in the area, we stop for a slice or two. I just wish we had one of these chains in Ohio! But we do order often and have some pies shipped during the holidays. Totally recommended!!

My annual Thanksgiving pie order was once again a huge hit that was the highlight of dinner. These pies are filled with fruit – not the gummy flavored, corn-starch-thickened goop that passes for pie filling in store-bought pies. A personal favorite of mine is the rhubarb pie – you can’t get anything like it elsewhere unless your Grandma bakes one for you.
These are the real deal! I got at least one whole tart cherry in every bite of the cherry crumb topping pie (named the best pie in the country.) You cannot go wrong with these pies. Do they cost a bit more? Of course they do, and for a good reason. The quality goes well beyond anything else available. Even the crust is delicious: I eat every bite of it.

I love the atmosphere and the music that was playing while I was visiting. The smells alone are priceless. The customers were very kind as well. I had a pot pie when I visited and my husband had sandwich, a club that he said was fresh and hearty. The pot pie was delicious but the filling to pie ratio was off. It had more crust than anything. I purchased the cherry pecan bread that was amazing! I also purchased a mini peach pie and there again was way too much crust and not enough filling, the filling wasn’t sweet enough either. It needed more brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon etc. It was actually a little bitter. The flavor differs from the Grand Traverse Pie company we had here in Grand Rapids MI!

We love our pies, so we though we’d give this place a try. The pies looked really good, so we got a peach, and mountain mixed berry pie. Both really good. We also tried the Oreo cheese cake, and a really good homage rice crispy treat. They also sell other food here, like a restaurant. They had a variety of coffees to drink their, or take home. Okay the only reason I’m giving this place four stars is because it was pretty expensive, 4.29 for a slice of pie.

The food is always great but we ordered a to-go meal and they didn’t include half the food we ordered and I had to go back to pick it up. They really make anything any better by offering a bakery item or something. Make sure to check your bag before you leave if you get to go
