Not as good as they used to be! Stopped in after being away from Bangor for several years. The place was dirty, especially the ladies bathroom. The front counter was empty and it took a while for someone to even acknowledge me. No apology for the delay. People working didn’t look happy or even excited to be there. Sandwich was flat and oozing onto the wrapper. Much less filling than they used to put in the sandwiches.
Taste was ok, nothing stellar, a little salt and pepper would’ve helped.
I was so let down. Especially since I was looking forward to one of their delicious sandwiches.

Nice sandwiches, but goodness, they take time. Only bottled beverages.
My Reuben had some nice components, but the cheese wasn’t melted, which felt odd. The kids’ sandwich was a half of untoasted bread, my daughter wasn’t too impressed.
The salad was good. Ample indoor seating.

Harvest moon is one of my favorite sandwich places. They have a great selection of customizable paninis and wraps and I’ve never had a bad one in my many, many visits and deliveries. I just went into the downtown location and was so happy to see Keri still works for Harvest moon, she’s always so friendly and makes for a fun visit.

Out of our entire stay in Maine (Bangor, Ellsworth, bar harbor) this was both my and my partner’s favorite meal. He is an omnivore and I’m a herbivore (reincarnated brontosaurus. Jk promise I’m not crazy please trust this review).
The soys of summer sounded amazing online and we beelined here as soon as we got off the plane. There was some confusion with my order but the staff was so nice and promptly made me the correct sandwich (I mumble so it was probably my fault. I usually will just take whatever as long as it is vegetarian but I just knew I needed this sandwich and I was right!!!).
This thing was so amazing. Many restaurants just have a veggie option as an after thought but they have put true intention behind these paninis.
When we left town today we were still full from breakfast but I had to have the soys again, so we split it. Must go, ranked higher than lobster and more!
Also, clean bathrooms. Thank you!!!

Great sandwiches. Cool place. Had their ruben loved it! They have pictures for many musicians. Their service was outstanding. Their prices are very reasonable also. Love the area of town they are in. If you are downtown in Bangor Maine around lunch time then check them out. They are right in the heart of the business district.

Stopped for a quick sandwich for the road . What a disappointment. We got a roast beef sandwich. The roast beef was pressed mystery meat tasting with a plastic fake texture. The sandwich contained avocado that was slimy, brown and passed its use by date as the taste was also off. The pickle that came with the sandwich was a the width and length of my pinkie finger so small qualifies more as relish than a pickle. To top it all off, they said would call my name when done and twenty minutes later no name called . Went up to the counter to ask and it has been sitting there as a phones on call . Don’t waste your time or money. Any other place has to be better than this place.

Found this deli on Yelp while traveling through Bangor. Convenient location, VARIED selection of sandwiches, wraps, paninis, soups, and salads. They also offer gluten free bread and wraps. Service was friendly and quick. Sandwiches are pretty big. Parking is available on the street or in the small lot in the back. The chicken salad was delicious! It was spicy, creamy, and unique with jalapeño peppers and red onion. Hubby had the Club. We will definitely stop here again on the way back. Terrific deli!

Looking for a quick bite before heading to the airport to fly back out. Harvest Moon Deli in downtown Bangor fit the bill. Great sandwiches. Bacon Care of Business sandwich has good zip. Ruben corned beef was tender and tasty. Too bad we don’t live here.
