Yesterday We had the most amazing day Downtown Temecula California! It was like stepping back into times of the old west. We chose 1909 Restaurant/Tavern Bar to have lunch because of its unique location and proximity on Front Street. It is a giant Barn like establishment with lots of flare and great music, and a very remarkable bar staff with great skills and any cocktail you can imagine and more. The staff was delightful and friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with food knowledge. I tried the Cilantro Lime Fish Tacos with French Fries and a refreshing cocktail their 1909 Punch with an extra shot! It was delicious and the lime sauce was very tasty on the tacos. My husband tried their famous 1909 Double Smash Cheeseburger with fries yummy. The atmosphere was amazing and the music was jamming and I loved that all are welcome even four legged friends and they had a menu for the pets too which I thought was cute. It was so much fun because the crowd was great and full of good energy and good vibes! We will definitely be back again soon.

Amazing service! Bartender was attentive and extremely knowledgeable with the menu. Drinks are absolutely fantastic- we ordered the prosecco, classic bloody Mary’s and the strawberry margarita. Also ordered the “birria hash” and “eggs your way” both were delicious and filling. Cannot wait to come here again! Love the vibe, food and drinks!!!

Back again! Had a wonderful experience. From the friendly hostess, to our server Brandon…to the amazing food. We decided to try the filet mignon. It was grilled to perfection! We also had the chorizo and shrimp dish. Delicious! The brown ale was so good too! Please keep this on tap. Brandon our server, was outstanding. He was friendly, on point with our order, and always had a smile on his face. Our visit here 12/20/2025 was a great holiday treat. See you again soon!

The vibe is awesome, very open and ample seating. The service was fenominal, one of the best service I’ve had. He was very attentive, approachable and great with the recommendations. The food was fenomnal! Espresso French toast tasted like dessert for breakfast. Fish tacos were crispy and delicious. Dressing on the salad was light and tasty. I look forward to coming again.

Excellent burgers and fries. Waiter was wonderful and kind. Staff friendly. It’s a very busy place but you are served well and fast. Everything perfectly done! Amazing cocktails and drinks. It’s a very historical building, as well. It’s the perfect place for lunch after walking and shopping in the many antique and lovely stores. The restrooms were very clean, as well. I recommend this wonderful restaurant very highly.

Visited 1909 in Temecula on a Friday night while exploring this small, clean town, and it was such a great experience. The place was packed with both locals and visitors, and the warm, welcoming vibe gave me a real sense of community — people just enjoying good food, drinks, and time with friends and family.
The staff were incredibly fast and friendly, which made the evening even better. I started with the ceviche — tasty, though more of a Mexican/guacamole style twist. The smash burger and shrimp curry were both excellent — fresh, flavorful, and not greasy, with generous portions. For dessert, I tried the bread pudding; it wasn’t quite on par with the entrees, but still a nice finish to the meal.
Overall, I loved the food, the atmosphere, and the energy of 1909. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re in Temecula!

My husband and I hosted our night before dinner at 1909 Temecula and it was nothing short of amazing! From the dinner service to the drinks and decorations the team at 1909 made sure our event was taken care of. Booking was a breeze and there was plenty of room for our party in the patio. Christina was wonderful to work with during the booking process. Our guests truly enjoyed the food, beverages and atmosphere. Special thank you to Joshua, Brandon, and Savannah who took care of us and our guests. They were very friendly, quick, and reliable! We can’t wait to come back and try the brunch menu! Our goto place for brunch in Temecula CA. The menu is international (ube French toast, carnitas chilaquiles, breakfast pasta carbonara). The beers were refreshing, Bloody Marys were yummy, spicy Bloody Marys were SPICY! The main dining room was beautifully decorated for the season. Blacklights were installed so you can read easily the menu. The staff works hard to serve you. John was outstanding. And, because it’s a gastropub, fun from our White Elephant gift exchange didn’t bother anyone.

We have been here a couple of times and the food is always great. Their menu is varied so I’m always able to find something good. We make it a point to sit on the open patio just to see the activity on Old Town Front Street eventhough the Harley’s can get loud.
