Some of the best tacos and salsas I’ve had! Super relaxed and lovely atmosphere in this excellent Mexican restaurant on the main drag in Delray Beach. This place was HOPPING on a random Monday night. Once we started tasting our food we understood why. The trio of salads with chips was super tasty. Varying levels of spice and different peppers and herbs gave each salsa its own unique flavor. My favorite was the spicy tomatillo. They had a respectable amount of vegan options. The mushroom tacos were absolutely fantastic. Flavored and full of textures and pleasing spice levels. The rice and beans were excellent and made better by adding in some of the salsa from our appetizer. My friend had a chicken quesadilla which was enormous and he said cooked just perfectly. We are both pretty big eaters and both had some leftovers to bring home for a late night snack. The vibe was relaxed. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this for a night out or even a family dinner.

The environment, the staff, and the area are the reasons to go. The food unfortunately was very “mid”. They had all the right things but just didnt hit the mark to get 5 stars. The queso funditio was mostly peppers and onions and was served to be like a cheese rollup, I was expecting more of a dip but the peppers and onions were huge. The cheeseburger tacos were good flavor and very heavy. Its a burger folded in half. The pork belly was not good at all. The corn tortillas were just moist and fell apart. There was nothing to them either, just chunks of pork belly with spoon fulls of canned corn. Not starting with chips and salsa was a disappointment as well.

Nerp, negatory, no. It’s unfair to judge an entire restaurant from one meal but if you have “tacos” in your name, one would think that’s where you’d shine. Went in for happy hour, ordered 3 from the HH menu, one from the regular, sent back two. Only one was worth eating (can’t remember which, wouldn’t return to figure out). Not very good tacos, flavorless fillings all covered by the same sauce. Decent service + drinks.

Love this place! Food is so tasty and amazing. Everytime we have any family come from out of town this is our go to. Place is kid friendly and the place is nicely decorated. Great service and great ambiance.

Had a large group here and was pretty good. Have been to Rocco’s before and hav am had good experience. Service was great- so kind and quick for the amount of people. A little chaotic sometimes gave us shots we didn’t order but food was pretty good. Table side guac a must. Overall recommend

Such a good spot in Delray. Hands down the best the guac and chips you can get in Delray. Everything else had some great flavor. Although my drinks were a very strong and not very “sippable”. I blame Rocco’s for not remembering this night

We’ve been coming to Rocco’s in Delray for years, and it used to be one of those dependable spots — good energy, good drinks, fun vibe. So coming back this time and seeing what it’s turned into was honestly shocking. A complete 180.
The place was basically empty, and with that, the atmosphere was just gone. No buzz, no music energy.
I ordered a mezcal margarita — and I’m not exaggerating — it didn’t even taste like a margarita. No lime, no brightness, just bland. When the bartender asked if I liked it, I had to let him know it was missing some sour mix and fresh lime. He very kindly added and re-shook to perfection.
For food, we ordered the queso fundido with chorizo and the camarones al ajillo. The “queso fundido” came in a small cast iron pan with what looked like chopped hotdogs posing as chorizo and a buttload of onions on the bottom, then prepackaged Safeway cheese sprinkled on top and baked. This was absolutely embarrassing and sad. I took 2 bites and left the rest – it was simply not even close to what queso fundido is. The shrimp? Not sautéed — it was literally shrimp tossed into what was basically a garlic soup. The tortillas that came with it might as well have been the frisbee that I throw for my dog.
Overall, both the drinks and food were beyond disappointing. I can longer recommend this spot anymore. If you actually want good Mexican food and real drinks, go over to El Camino close by — they know how to make a proper mezcal margarita, the vibe is fire, and their queso fundido with chorizo is exactly how it should be!! …yes, we went to El Camino afterwards only to order the right queso fundido!! Photos show you the difference between the two – you decide! 😉

I just order 4 tacos and told the server to pick. They were delicious! The chips and salsa was great as well. The atmosphere is chill, sit outside if you can. Highly recommend!

Love Rocco’s Tacos! Always a fun cool vibe. Great drinks and good food. Great to sit outside and do some people watching. Try the table side gauc… it’s a nice presentation. Can’t go wrong with the tacos either. Great Happy every day 4-7. $5 Margs and $5 Tacos!
