They had only been open 30 mins, we were the 1st customers of the day. The place was pretty clean. Service was pretty good. BUT, this red lobster is just like everyone I’ve ever eaten at, the snow crab is NEVER brought to the table hot, it’s always Cold!!! What’s up with that?? The biscuits are usually a customers favorite but this time they were small little rocks, maybe because it was the 1st batch?

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Red Lobster on Cockrell Hill in Duncanville! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of positive energy. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every bite was a reminder of why this spot is such a staple in the community.
A very special shoutout to our server, Eli, who truly made our visit exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Eli anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, made great menu suggestions, and ensured our table was taken care of with genuine care and a smile. His customer service was top tier and made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers.
If you’re looking for great food, an inviting atmosphere, and outstanding service, Red Lobster is definitely the place to be. We will absolutely be back — and we’ll be asking for Eli!

I came to pick up a simple takeout order and the level of disorganization at this Red Lobster was unreal.
When I walked in, a younger man greeted me and asked about my order. Cool. But then a woman named Angie came to the front and literally just stood there staring at me looking completely lost. No greeting. No confirmation. No “give me one moment.” Nothing. She just twirled her hair and fanned herself like she was too hot to function instead of actually helping a waiting customer.
Meanwhile, it was obvious the staff is stretched thin you’ve got employees trying to play runner, busboy, and host all at the same time. That’s not their fault, that’s management. This place clearly needs proper staffing and leadership because the front-of-house experience is chaotic and unprofessional.
If you’re going to offer takeout, at least have someone up front who looks like they know what’s going on. Standing around looking confused while customers wait is not it.

When we arrived it was not very busy. We immediately had to wait for the biscuits which of course Red Lobster is known for. The waiter said they had some more about to be ready but because they’re to go orders were so abundant that’s why they were out. Seems to me they should also take care of the customers that are actually eating there instead of waiting on the to go orders first. We finally got our iced tea we asked for and we also mentioned please bring some butter when he does bring the biscuits. He finally brought an order of biscuits but of course no butter. It took a long time to get the food as again I stated it was not very busy at that time. By this by this time we again mentioned could he bring some butter with some more biscuits while we were waiting. Again he said they were out and he would bring them as soon as he could. I don’t have his name but he was a short Hispanic with red suspenders. Our order called for popcorn shrimp but we asked if he substitute actual shrimp instead and he said he would check. When he brought the food he did bring shrimp and so we thought everything was fine. Turns out we got charged for an order of shrimp $9. We didn’t even realize till after we left that we also did not receive our second side which was an order of broccoli. We don’t eat out very much especially at restaurants that cost quite a bit and it’s very disappointing to get service like this at what we consider a pretty nice restaurant. Very disappointed.

Genuinely one of the worst experiences at a restaurant. The place itself was not terrible and the food was not worth the price but it was good food. However, the service was terrible from beginning to end. We went in during the happy hour and the menu clearly stated the drinks price and appetizers discount for the order. I showed the menu to the waiter, Apostle, and asked if it was correct and he just shrugged. I went ahead and ordered it and he walked away without taking drink orders for anyone else at the table including my friend and small child. When he brought my water, my friend had to ask for a drink before the server walked off again. The drinks were amazing, I loved the margaritas! The mozzarella sticks were also really good! However, once we ordered the mariners boil and waited a while (the margaritas helped past the time) then he brought us the wrong boil. Then we waited 10 minutes for him to come back to check on us to finally tell him we had the wrong order and his mood dropped drastically and then we waited even longer for the right order (we were just trying to have a good time). The food was okay, but not worth $40 each boil. He was so upset with us that he made a point to avoid our table and we waited 30 minutes to get napkins since we didn’t want to bother other waitresses working. He also failed to take up empty drinks and plates even after we had already been there an hour. Then the bill finally came and he did not charge us correctly for the happy hour items. He finally decided to ask a manager about the drinks after I asked about the receipt. The margaritas and mozzarella sticks were amazing but the waiter ruined our experience and ruined Red Lobster for me.
