Spectacular experience, especially if you show up before the crowds, around 4-4:30pm.
We were the only ones there and only three other tables were seated during the 2 hours we spent there.

Food was mesmerizingly good. Perfect size, even though on the more expensive side…it was SOOOO worth it!

We really appreciated a very attentive, yet considerate service. Our server (possibly an owner or family of the owner) was very respectful of the fact our party needed to be left alone for a while so we can talk and checked on us only when necessary.

The place was quiet so we could have a great conversation, but again, this might change with time of the day. We’ll definitely be back very soon!

Update on 11/16/25
Came back after a few months and I can only confirm that the time around 4-4:30pm is when you’ll be able to have the place to yourself (this was a Sunday).

I had a great seafood special that was bursting with flavor, very slightly spicy and was not too large to overwhelm. My wife had a perfectly grilled branzini (with skin on) on a bed of soft and juicy risotto. We finished the dinner with an impeccable carrot cake that was layered with so many different flavors in it!

Service was once again very attentive but not overwhelming.

We’ll be back any chance we get!

A friend had told me about how great the food was here so I needed to give it a try.
My wife and I had the crab cakes which were delicious. The atmosphere was very nice and the server took good care of us and was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend trying this place out, you will not be disappointed.

BYOB. It was our first time here. We were the only people there for about first 40 minutes, so we loved the fact that the place was so quiet and we could actually talk (not yell at each other) before having dinner. The food for absolutely fabulous. Every single dish. We will definitely go back.

A great little BYO in the heart of Phoenixville. This place seems to be run by a handful of people and they kept things flowing with a full dining room. Great menu with a lot of seafood offerings. Wish we had room to try more of the desserts (all house made except ice cream). Carrot cake was delectable. Thanks!

Pleasantly surprised. We got the crispy calamari to start, the pan roasted duck and the fettuccine Alfredo. The entrees were well made and balanced in terms of palette. My only remark about the food was that the calamari was not crispy but more on the soggy end.

Not the greatest atmosphere but the food is what you’d come for.

My wife and I were here for dinner on a Friday evening this fall (2023) and left the restaurant really pleased with our overall experience that explains this 5-star rating. In our view, the food was extremely good for prices that were reasonable by contrast. Sure I would like it if two jumbo lump crab cakes did not cost me $32 but given the price of crab cakes even at a grocery store, the price seems fair given the overheads any restaurant has. Our dinner consisted of two appetizers – the Maine lobster bisque and calamari – and two entrees – the jumbo lump crab cakes and a branzino filet (which was one of the two specials of the day). Each of the items was very well executed and portion sizes were generous. We didn’t finish all of the lobster bisque and even then, we left completely full with no room for dessert at the end. Our total bill was $86 and with a tip, it came to $100.

The restaurant is a BYOB which makes the place more affordable than other comparable restaurants. We brought a bottle of white wine with us and because we did not have time to refrigerate it at home, our server added some ice to the bucket holding our wine. That was a nice gesture. In general, the service was good, without being overbearing.

There were no real downsides but one thing I might note is that the chairs weren’t super comfortable. Personally I like sitting in booths but there are none here. The only other thing worth a mention is that being located right on Bridge St. and somewhat far from the nearest municipal parking lot, parking can be tricky at times. Fortunately, we found parking a few feet away from the entrance to the restaurant and I could even see our car from the table where we were seated.

Overall, we had an excellent experience and this a place that we will add to our list of date-night favorites.

Haven’t been here in 4 years and marked decline. Was maybe a third full on a Saturday night at 7. Waiter was great, food not so much. The bread had seeds. With so many nut and seed allergies, why? The seasoned butter delicious. The fried calamari, delicious. The Caesar salad? Meh. Not enough dressing and the romaine lettuce pale. I had the chicken piccata. Runniest, saltiest I’ve ever had. Not a hint of lemon and I don’t think the chicken was dipped in flour and egg. Other guests had shrimp and grits. Runniest/soupiest grits we’d ever seen. I left my entree uneaten and aside from being asked if I was finished or wanted it to go, I wasn’t asked a thing, clearly, when someone leaves an entree uneaten….there is a problem. Stopped and got a burger on the way home. Won’t be back.

I went here for my birthday and had a wonderful relaxing quiet meal. We started with the pork wonton (sorry no photo. We ate them ). I had the pan seared scallops and my husband had the filet mignon. We both enjoyed our food. We finished with a pumpkin cheesecake and carrot cake with coffee.

Had lunch today with a group of friends and we all really enjoyed our food and our time together. We a table of seven and there were only couple other parties of two there the whole time we were there, not sure why on a beautiful Saturday this restaurant doesn’t have more traffic.

At any rate, our server was great. Very attentive but not over bearing. The food was very good. They had a Filet tip stroganoff that was ordered by several people at the table, it was very well seasoned, and the beef was tender. Also ordered was the Shrimp and grits. Also very good flavor, a little heat, but not so much to ruin the flavors of the rest of the ingredients to come through. The last entree ordered was a mushroom ravioli. It was bathed in a sauce that had a slight acidic bit to cut through the rich ingredients, giving it a very good balance of flavors.

We ordered many different deserts to pass around and taste. I think the fan favorite was the Cinnamon bun Ice cream sandwich. All of the desserts were good, but wouldn’t necessarily say great. The tiramisu was not as coffee forward as we felt it should be and the base was more of a cheesecake than a typical Tiramisu mascarpone cream. The Rhubarb crumble was good, as was the Banana foster crepe. The Key lime cheesecake was not a favorite, mainly because it just didn’t;t have enough Key lime flavor coming through.

The coffee was excellent….that may sound like a strange thing to comment on BUT I hate having a good meal only to have lame weak coffee at the end.

All in all we will definitely be returning to this restaurant and I would certainly recommend putting it on your list to try!

The servers and staff were very nice and came frequently. They provided everything we needed and were super polite. The atmosphere was quiet and seemed like a great place for brunch. It’s a bring your own alcohol kinda place. The food was good but could have been better. There was a lot of seafood on the menu which I personally love but the food seemed over cooked which is better than under cooked in my opinion. The omelets should be fluffy and light whereas they were flat and thin.

Tldr: Food leaves room for improvement but overall a great place!
