Came here with my family for dinner after wanting to try it for over a year. This place definitely exceeds expectations. The staff are fun and personable. The steaks were FABULOUS! One of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back!

We stopped on a Saturday night and to our surprise with it being a small place we were still able to get a spot at the bar for dinners. I ordered the shrimp po boy, which was delicious! My boyfriend got one of the steak specials of the night and it was good beautifully with good flavor. Great little stop!

Doc’s offers an impressive selection of meats that would rival many dedicated steakhouses. The chalkboard menu showcases a variety of tempting cuts, from dry-aged prime ribeye to elk tenderloin tips, alongside more casual options like pork steaks and rib chops. They rotate the meat and cut choices weekly on Fridays.
The atmosphere appears warm and rustic, fitting for a rural establishment. The good service and friendly staff contribute to a welcoming dining experience.
While the meat options shine, there’s room for improvement in the side dishes, particularly the salads and potato offerings. The appetizer selection, including items like coconut shrimp and ghost pepper cheese curds, adds interesting variety to the menu.
As a bar and restaurant rather than a pure steakhouse, this place seems to strike a balance between high-quality meats and a casual, countryside vibe. It’s likely a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, offering satisfying meals in a relaxed setting. With some enhancements to the side dishes, it could elevate its overall dining experience even further.

A friend recommended them because they are off our normal beaten path and super affordable. We were very satisfied. We had 2 Entrees, an appetizer and 3 Sodas between my wife and I and the bill was $28. We will be back to try the steak at some point! Worth a little bit of a drive to try something new. Highly recommend giving them a visit. Cozy atmosphere- small town feel.

Been back to Doc’s plenty of times now. My absolute favorite place for steak. Their steaks are fabulous!!
Great food and great staff! Stopped in yesterday around 4:00 pm and the bartender/waitress was awesome. She was very busy but always had a smile. The service was very fast. We had the Shrimp Po Boy and Patty Melt which were fantastic! Definitely will be back.

I’ve never had a bad experience until today. I recommended to my wife that we go out and get steak today and in the past we have had good experiences here. The waitress was phenomenal and had great customer service. The steaks were bland but its okay we could season them at the table. My problem came when my wife was spitting out her food into a napkin. I asked her what was wrong and she said she tasted mold in her potatoes. I took the JoJo that she took a bite out of and smelled it and it had a very strong odor of mold. I discreetly called the waitress over and told her to tell the manager to smell it and that it smelled like mold. She came back and told me that she would be taking the Jojo’s off the bill but my wife had already vomited and wasn’t willing to finish her meal due to the experience. Yes, I may have made a scene and spoke loudly about how mold was in the jojos but the “manager” who came out was very unprofessional. Tried telling me that the smell was sour cream and that there was a black spot in the jojo. I asked him if he smelled it to which he said no he didn’t smell it. So obviously he didn’t know what he was talking about. He was more upset that I was trying to tell other people that we were served mold and kept telling me I needed to be quiet. I’ve been a director of culinary services for years now and I know mold when I smell it. His defensiveness and unwillingness to make things right or to at least admit the wrongs makes me believe that this place is beyond fixing. Will be contacting the health department.
