This is my favorite restaurant in Tucson. Raj, the owner, is very welcoming, and the employees also do a great job.

I love the butter chicken and the naan; delicious and fresh every time. The butter chicken is creamy and rich, but not overpowering. A great dish.

I called ahead and was able to make my order ready for pickup. The service was excellent, kind and it was apparent this is a family run business. Once you open the doors to the store, your senses are overtaken by the aroma of spices and delicious food. Authentic. Delicious. Generous portions. Best Indian food I have had in Arizona!

Great chicken tikka masala… kind of twisted, I assume with your korman dish , very interesting. I am assuming there are yummy cashews in your tikka!!! I recommend.. We almost dined in, but our dog needed to be walked so we switched to takeout – But even the sag paneer.. wow…. it did run a bit high…. but what can we do these days?

Well this was my first time eating Indian food. Always wanted to try it but never did. I went with a simple option of chicken wings and legs. These were some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere! Tons & tons of flavor!! Definitely go and try Twisted Indian when you get a chance. I’ll be going back to try some of the full dishes they recommended.

One of the BEST food experiences I’ve had in a while ! This local favorite thrives on word of mouth business and offers up some delicious flavors . Inconspicuously tucked away inside chevron gas station ( who knew ?!)
A variety of spice levels can be accommodated no problem .

Plenty of Vegan & Vegetarian options .

Tucson is full of Gems and this is definitely one of them .

When you stop in make sure to take a moment and get to know Owner , Raj . He’s an absolute pleasure .

Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I’m a Tucson native, and there’s really not a lot to choose from here. But the quality is top notch. Don’t let the fact that it’s in a gas station scare you away. I spent a long time traveling in the UK, trying various Indian places across all four countries. While a lot of the food was amazing, I kept finding myself craving the lamb curry from Twisted Indian

I was driving from White sands to Saguaro NP, and on my way I ordered food for take out from this Indian restaurant. GPS took me to a gas station and I was looking for the restaurant but finally found it inside the convenience store. You can see the restaurant sign on the top. I almost reached on their closing time but they waited for me, very friendly and welcoming staff.
Well, this is a hidden gem inside a Chevron gas station, I ordered Butter Chicken, Tawa roti and samosas, everything was so authentic and finger licking decent and more than expected.
Their one roti is equivalent to almost 3 homemade roti, Rotis were very soft, coated with ghee and made with pure wheat flour(no all purpose flour mixed), Butter chicken was also made with proper Punjabi style with authentic spices with perfect flavor and the highlight was Samosa, for me it was one of the best samosas I had in US, while eating samosa I didn’t even need any chutney.
I highly recommend this restaurant for the authentic North Indian cuisine and I will definitely try their food when I come back to Tucson again.

We stopped at this gas station for a few quick drinks. We were lured in by the delicious aromas of fresh spices and herbs. And pleasantly surprised by such a pleasant and clean atmosphere for this adorable little food spot located near the back. We decided to try a dish. We were greeted by the owner, so full of pride and excited to share his culture with us.
We ordered the Curry and garlic naan! I am so blown away with the freshness, the layers of flavor and how you honestly felt like you were in transported to India. Thank you for sharing your culture! We will 100% be back.

Well, if you love creamy rice like they have at Zyka Twist, then this is another great choice.
With getting a tikka masala, I figured I’d do extra spicy. Wow, the bread had more spice than the extra spicy masala! The rice is okay, the chicken is cut up into a bunch of small, soft chunks, but the sauce is just cream. My wife chose the medium and I think there’s more spice in Cheerios than in that! Now, mind you, I’m not only critiquing the heat, but spices and flavor in general. Garam masala? Salt? Paprika? Tumeric? Garlic? Where are any of those?

The bread was good for flavor, but they feel like soggy tortillas. They were actually able to add heat that our two dishes lacked, which was nice.
