I asked her what was going on with the restrooms, she said that a plumber was on its way, but while waiting, I noticed that there were three female employees who entered the bathroom and one male employee that entered the bathroom two of the females while exiting the bathroom, replied to the staff at the front desk area that they had to do what they had to do even without running water. The employees then entered into the kitchen. Again, I asked for the manager before leaving the restaurant but She did not come to the front lobby area. The employee at the booth stated that there was no plumber coming. The restaurant remained open, despite not having running water in the bathrooms and both had out of order signs. This is a serious health care hazard for the community in which they serve!
Secondly, the service, horrible. We were serviced by the new server. I understand your new, I get it. It’s 6/6:30 upon arrival. Just under 7:30 when we’re seated. I ordered a drink immediately to mellow out. Our drinks arrive at the table 8/8:15. I’m not a drinker so I ordered a drink I thought would have just the right amount of kick to ease a little stress. Calm the irritation from the wait. Their excuse, short staffed. Not the customers problem, so we shouldn’t have to feel that weight. Anyway, the drink tasted good. Now when I say, I am not a drinker, I am not. I don’t drink, smoke, vape, nothing. I have a bottle of champagne in the fridge in the kitchen from New Year’s, I look at everyday. 2 bottles of red wine that supposedly be for every other day because a glass of red wine in moderation is good for the heart. Bought it for New Year’s as well. Not a drinker. So the drink I ordered should have given me some type of buzz. NOTHING! No hello, but I’ll see you later. Not a peek-a-boo, NOTHING. I was hopeful thinking it was one of those drinks that took a moment to sneak up on you. NOTHING. Such a disappointment. Food arrives, it’s 9p.m. Only 1 person received their food. The flatbread. 9:30 My salad, my small grilled chicken ceasar salad arrives along with the 5 fried pieces of shrimp. Maybe, 6 minutes later, our to go order is ready. I should’ve left that BS right there.
I’ve been to Red Lobster before at a different location and received excellent service. I recall the debate with my date about the tip because our server was on point. I wasn’t driving so I remembered being a bit tipsy off 1 apple martini. We didn’t have to wait to be seated and our food was delicious, fast service.
The Madison Heights location has given me the worst experience ever. I will not be back to that location. I refuse to pay $140 for BS service. Sometimes restaurants or businesses forget that customer service is everything. Without the customer there is no business.
Follow up: I don’t have or want an active Facebook account. Reach out another way. The location however was the Madison Heights location on 12mile off of John R. Horrible service. The quality and portion of the food, .
Having to wait 20-30 minutes for a drink that should have alcohol but didn’t, . Almost an hour for 5 fried shrimp and a small Ceasar salad, (appetizers) .

My husband and I had a delightful dining experience at the Red Lobster in Madison Heights, where we had a reservation for 3 PM. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by one of the managers, Bill, which set a welcoming tone for our meal. Our waiter, Steven, provided attentive service that made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit.
For our entrees, I ordered the surf and turf, Red Lobster style, while I enjoyed a delectable trio of lobster, salmon, and shrimp on a Barbie. The flavors were incredible, and every bite was a joy! As for sides, I couldn’t resist the mac & cheese sprinkled with bacon shavings, and I also tried the grilled Brussels sprouts, which were perfectly cooked and seasoned.
To top it all off, I ventured out of my comfort zone and tried a chocolate-flavored martini for the first time—definitely a tasty treat!
We were so pleased with our meal that we even took home some of the famous cheddar biscuits to enjoy later in the week. Everything was seasoned perfectly and served promptly, making for a truly enjoyable experience.
We can’t wait to return to Red Lobster for another fantastic meal! Highly recommend!
