Just delicious. Such a great quality, taste and a big portion. The staff is friendly and fast. Also the home made ice tea and the starters were insanely delicious. For such perfection is the price cheap! 1 large starters to share, 3 different fish & chips recipes, 3 drinks including 1 cocktail… 80 euros for 3 people. We are most satisfy. We talked about our food the entire evening after. We will come back!

I’m very disappointed with the fish and chips. The potatoes and fish were clearly fried in old, burnt oil. The taste was awful, and the food was not edible at all. I expected much better quality. Honestly, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with fish and chips.

I arrived eight minutes to kitchen close on a Monday lunchtime. The restaurant was nearly full. I can see why. To hasten my decision-making I opted for the now obligatory Christmas special, hand-cut chips that were more wedges than chips without any excess oil, but soft and moreish, a crispy, slightly spicy coating on a decent-sized piece of fried white fish, possibly coley, with a “red winter dip” that, although not red, was the perfect accompaniment. Served with carrot, cucumber, mint and peanut salad. I’ll come again for the tacos. Friendly, efficient service. Good value. Tiny tables and stools suggest that you’re unlikely to linger.

Happy we discovered this place. Fish and chips were crispy. The sauces were a nice addition. Food was really quick on our table. We would’ve appreciated a little more time between starters and main food. Both were served in a timing of 5 minuten. Friendly staff, no nonsense. A little tight to sit. Reasonable prices for the food you’re getting. Love to come back here. Loved the Moscow mule cocktail, well mixed!

The waiter brought out the wrong beer but quickly replaced it and no charge for the “error”. Anyone can make a mistake but this one was quickly and efficiently resolved.
However, our main mission was to try their much hyped fish and chips. The portions were a decent size made up mostly of chips. Sadly, these were pretty bland. The fish was fresh but not a lot of it, and it suffered from the same lack of flavour.
We did try two different styles of the catch of the day, the classic and a rosemary thyme version. Neither of us liked the latter. The classic was OK, but we were expecting more than just OK.
My partner, who was only recently introduced to the delight that is fish and chips, commented that these were the worst she’d ever eaten.
Overall, a disappointing experience that failed to justify the Brussels tourist prices.

Great service, food and atmosphere. We have been there twice and never disappointed. The fish is la fresh and we tried different fish and chips on the menu each time and all were great. There were about 5 different types. This was a great meal at a fair price especially cause it’s a tourist area. I would definitely recommend this for fish and chips.
