First off, there was no wait, which is always a great way to start the night. The environment and vibe never disappoint—it’s always lively, welcoming, and the perfect spot to enjoy great food in the city.
Our beautiful waitress Shayla was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, professional, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire visit. The manager Alejandro also stopped by and his attention to detail and dedication to customer service truly stood out. It’s always refreshing to see leadership that genuinely cares about the guest experience.
Now let’s talk about the food… everything came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! Every bite was packed with flavor. And the drinks? Major kudos to the bartender because they were perfectly crafted and so good!

Had a group of 14 for lunch and Kevin took great care of us. He was friendly, quick, and attentive, and every order came out correct.
– Appetizer Trio: 4/5 (Guac was tasty. $20 felt a bit pricey, but free chip refills helped)
– Beef Quesabirria Quesadilla: 3.5/5 (Decent flavor overall, but the beef was a little dry and the consommé was bland)

Pretty good spot. Doesn’t have physical menus, so expect to be annoyed by QR codes. Food was pretty good, although portions were a bit small for the price. We went on a Friday, so it was busy and had to wait. The concrete walls mean that it gets extremely loud inside, so be aware. All in all a just okay experience for me and my party. That said, the sauces they provide for the table are incredible, so get some chips and apply liberally.

Stopped for lunch at 12:30 on a Tuesday, no wait, seated upstairs. A little chilly today. Service is excellent, Sofia took very good care of us! Grilled chicken taco fantastic, Barbacoa very good, pork belly , Al Pastor also a favorite. Atmosphere is very festive. No kids today but they have a decent kids menu. Parking works, but if it was busier it would be tight. Highly recommend!

Friday night, my friends and I celebrated a birthday at Rreal Tacos. We didn’t have reservations, so our wait was a bit long, but the ladies entertained themselves at the bar. My only frustration with this part was that they didn’t give us the option to sit outside until we inquire how much longer our wait will be after already waiting for over an hour. It was completely open upstairs, and we were okay with the cold because they had outdoor heaters. The service was decent. Our waitress communicated well and made sure we were good. The decor was extremely cute and well executed. The music was on point. I felt like I was in Miami listening to reggaton, which I enjoyed. The food was really good; we all thoroughly enjoyed everything on our plates. Would I return? Yes! I’ll just make sure to have reservations.
***But be aware that the blanks to keep you warm outside WILL leave a lot of lent on your clothes. I was annoyed because my friend had it wrapped around her, and it rubbed all over my jacket. We all have to get our clothes dry cleaned because using a lent roller will be tedious at this point.***

I was so excited to try Rreal Tacos with my sister! She comes often and raves about the food. The Halloween menu and decorations with servers dressed in costume were a perfect atmosphere for spooky season. I enjoyed the punch and my sister had the Halloween Ramen. I ordered four different tacos… the portions were generous and I was unable to eat them all. The elotes were delicious! Who doesn’t love a creative taco spot? Real Taco has amazing prices and seriously delicious meat options. I’m a huge fan of their birria and the bowls, and you can’t go wrong with their margaritas. What really sets them apart is their festive decor—they go all out with themed dining for the holidays! I’ve been there for Halloween, Christmas, and now Valentine’s Day, and it’s always such a fun vibe. Since it’s right on the BeltLine, it’s super easy to walk to, though there’s a parking garage nearby if you’re driving.”

It was too smoky inside today. Had to step out several times for fresh air. Suggestion: Better ventilation. I love coming here and it’s the first time it’s been smoky. No harm, that’s why I stayed. My fish quesadilla was excellent.

Was celebrating my friends birthday. Vanesa was great!!! Very attentive and anticpated if we needed anything. The host and hostess Alejandro and Valentina were also great and came by to check on us as well. Atmosphere/Ambiance was nice as well. They were getting ready for Valentines Day.

My daughter and I went on Halloween. It was literally my first time going to Real Tacos. And I was excited to try the spooky drinks and see the decorated atmosphere. We got the best server Kevin!! He was kind, patient, and offered drink and food selections .He even gave me a dessert for my birthday.The manager with the IT clown custom on was very kind and welcoming. Food came out quickly .We made reservations online 1hr before we arrived. That was a bonus and lucky. That place was so cool. I would definitely go back.
