Simple and healthy appetizer! One of my favorite snacks/appetizers.
> Spicy Garlic Miso Belly (+ Pork Belly) $21
My partner ordered this one, he felt it was a big bland and nothing to special. Didn’t feel it’s worth the $21 🙁
> Bento Box Special (Braised tofu & Chicken Teriyaki) $11.95
This was a pretty good deal for a bento box, normally bento boxes are between $15-20. You can choose from quite a lot of options. For the price and for what it is, I’d say this is worth it and would recommend! Everything was pretty tasty and I had some leftovers too. ps this doesn’t come with miso soup~
> Lion King Roll $14.95
One of our favorite sushi rolls, we love that it’s warm since it’s baked and all the ingredients blend so well together! It feels slightly melted as it’s been baked~
> Yakitori $6.95
This came with 2 skewers, it was chicken thigh and scallion. I was to full to eat this the day of and so I ate it the next day at lunch, it wasn’t good being warmed up again so I assume it’s probably better eating it when it was still hot & fresh haha

Hole In the Wall Seeker
Stopped in for a quick bite, seated quickly, and drinks also came quickly. Food was well prepared but lacked a lil on serving size. Overall delicious and prices were not too bad.

I was seated right away during lunch time and it wasn’t too busy. My favorite and reason for my visit was to have the torikawa (chicken skin skewers) I also had the Bento with the shrimp tempura and shioyaki salmon. Everything was delicious I almost forgot to take photos as I was hungry lol… price was also reasonable.

Service was 10/10, the guy was just awesomely friendly. Solid place, roll was yummy, not sure if I was just hungry or something, but the wasabi was good. Chicken teriyaki was minimally seasoned which I liked, but to most people they would probably think it was bland. Come here for the sushi of course, not for the other stuff. Will try more rolls in the future.

Had the tonkotsu ramen, chicken karaage, and fried pot stickers. The tonkotsu ramen at this price level is great value. Broth wasn’t the most complex, but tasted good. The noodles were flavorful and pork was just okay. The chicken karaage wasn’t super crispy, but again, great taste and quantity for the value. Staff was friendly and service was fast. Would recommend for a quick bite.

Sashimi and sushi was very good. Salmon teriyaki lunch special was ok. The gyoza in the lunch special was deep fried, not pan fried as traditionally prepared. We didn’t get to sample their ramen. They got one of our orders wrong, there was no apology, and it took a long time to get the correct order served. It wasn’t too busy during the lunch hour. We were too impressed.

Yum!! Food quantity for Spicy Garlic Miso Ramen was a lot that could have easily been split between two people. It was flavorful and the noodles were perfectly cooked, addition of garlic and additional sea weeds toppings were also good. Would recommend this ramen and place to anyone who is looking for a flavorful and satisfying Vegetarian RAMEN meal.

I almost don’t want to leave a review as this place is such a hidden gem. We got a dragon roll, chicken teriyaki, and a miso ramen.
We devoured the roll, it was incredibly fresh. The miso ramen was very flavorful and massive.
What really made our visit memorable was the spectacular customer service. We came in 30ish minutes before closing and not once did we feel rushed, the waiter was so welcoming. Must visit, you will not regret!

I’ve eaten their tan tan ramen a few times over the years, and it has been consistently excellent every time. Just the right amount of heat with a good mixture of ingredients. Well maintained restaurant and friendly staff too.
