… I’m not a regular patron, but Golden Corral serves up value and quality to a segment of the restaurant going public who otherwise likely couldn’t afford to take their families out to dinner. But Thanksgiving ? They knock it out of the ballpark. I was smart and went early. They started at nine am. Have a look !

The manager, Aman, is a gracious person and made dining here a delight. Food was switching from breakfast to lunch at our visit. Food was very fresh and very hot. Our server was very polite and efficient.
Overall, the restaurant needs a deep clean, and the kitchen staff needs to stay diligent while work and not get off track.
Golden Corral…kitchen and servers should NEVER be allowed on a cell phone during shift.
Overall, good, hot food for a buffet, and speaking with Aman is a reason to come back.

I did not know there were any Golden Corrals left…
I have not been to a Golden Corral in years – I thought they went out of business during Covid. It surprises me that it only has a 3-star rating because it was pretty good for what it is. It is not a fine dining experience – It is a come as you are buffet. You can pick the food you eat in the qualities you want to eat it in. You can have as much dessert as you want. Is the food the best? No, and you should not expect it to be because it is a buffet. Can you request how you want your steak done? Sure, but it is going to be medium to medium-well because that is how it works. Is the service going to be great? No, look around there are a ton of people here and very few staff, BUT do tip the waitresses because they are trying because they are bussing tables and refilling your drinks – this is a buffet not a full-service restaurant.
Sit back and enjoy the experience there is no reason to nit-pick – the place is not horrible it is probably on the better side of the buffet spectrum. Don’t compare it to Texas Roadhouse or Red Lobster because they are not the same kind of restaurant or even in the same league. I gave them 4 stars because they do good for a buffet. –
Would I go back – Yes, if I am in the mood for a buffet that is not Chinese.
If you are upset by the experience, you need to chill out and maybe get an extra scoop of sprinkles on your ice cream – that always puts me in a better mood…

Love the Grove City location. The food is so good. Every thing is fresh, there is a big variety to choose from. I love the fish, fried chicken, the salad with all the toppings to put on top. I like the Mac and cheese, mash potatoes, sweet potatoes. I love and enjoy all of the food. The location is always clean.

My husband wanted to go here for his birthday so we came at lunch. First off, not a very big selection of food, it didn’t look very appetizing, but once I found a few things to sample and went back to our table I found EVERYTHING to be cold, my husband filled his plate with nothing that was the same as on mine and EVERYTHING on his plate was cold. Left our plates at the table and went to find a waitress or manager, found both. Waitress was apologetic and understanding, said she had heard the same complaint of all cold food from several people. Manager did not even speak to us, refunded our money for the food, handed it to us and that was it. So, cold food (which CANNOT be healthy), plates for patrons to take were dirty, and the whole place smelled like a dirty mop bucket. We will NEVER go back here and I will be sure to tell everyone I can not to go there anymore either. This place legitimately needs closed down, someone is going to get sick.

I came for breakfast and the items were not hot. I let the manager know that the items weren’t hot and that it was just something to let him know to work on. I believe I upset him by telling him that the food wasn’t food temperature and I got a refund and he didn’t apologize or say anything about the inconvenience or you know welcome me to come back. Just walked away. Didn’t say anything to make me feel comfortable about the food not being up too par, if it wasn’t for the nice waitress that I had I probably would have been more upset with the situation because she had great customer service and apologize for the food and her manages and I tipped her as I was supposed to and I didn’t let the be managers behavior affect my overall opinion.
I will continue to go there as I have before. I have this situation with him and I’ve gone after but again you know for the manager not to to apologize or sorry for the inconvenience you know was a little disappointing but they know we like to eat people love food so more than likely I’ll be back!

The food was decent, but honestly, this Golden Corral really needs a makeover — you can tell it’s outdated. The service, though, is always nice. Hannah was very attentive when it came to picking up our dishes, refilling our cups, and checking in on us — she did an amazing job!
However, I will say, be careful with the chicken. Mine was a bit raw, and that definitely threw me off. Also, the atmosphere could use some improvement; there were kids running around everywhere, and it made it hard to enjoy the meal. Parents should be a little more mindful so everyone can have a better experience.

Although I appreciate the fact that Golden Corral offers a Veterans Day meal special for Active Duty & Veteran Service Members, they don’t advertise it well that it is only offered on Veterans Day Monday from 5:00 pm until closing.
Many elderly veterans don’t drive at night due to poor nighttime vision (and in Columbus, OH the sun sets at 5:17 this time of year); and many are not, or are no longer computer savvy or capable, and therefore miss this small detail.
I drove 21 miles each way to take advantage of the Veterans Day Special, & anticipated feeling appreciated for my service, only to be denied a meal because it was not yet 5:00pm.
What’s the difference? I wish I’d never read about the offer, because now I’m just annoyed, out $8 worth of gasoline, & 40 minutes drive time. I wish I’d never come. It feels more like a “Gotcha” than a kindness …
