One thing worth noting was we were brought to the corner at the back but our waiter was really attentive so that didn’t turn out to be a huge problem.
Would definitely come back again!
I ordered a steak, which in my opinion was just average because it didn’t have a special flavor. The meat quality was good and tender, but it lacked taste. Some steaks are really rich and flavorful, but this one wasn’t very flavorful to me.
We also ordered lobster, but since I didn’t eat it myself, I can’t really comment on it.
Another point is that, unlike some places where food arrives cold, here the food came to the table really hot, and I really appreciated that.
I really liked the restaurant’s atmosphere. It was very spacious with a variety of seating arrangements and layouts, which I enjoyed a lot.
The food was delicious, the service was courteous and attentive, and everything felt seamless from start to finish. Truly a great night out. Everything was perfect, as always.
My birthday is coming up and I’m already craving another steak!

Came to celebrate two events with two sets of family. A birthday and wedding anniversary. Upon our arrival of 7pm reservation of 7 ppl we noticed the lobby area of the restaurant to be quite busy. A couple ahead of us were told there are 140 guests in the waiting line for walk in’s (incredible)…thank god we made a reservation. We were seated within 5mins
After being seated our waitress Stephanie told us they were out of the NY striploin which was very upsetting to hear since myself and three others are used to ordering that particular steak all the time from the keg. We were left confused since it was only 7pm and at 10pm you could understand. There was no explanation but just left with that notice. Waitress came back with water and took our drinks order and appetizers order. It did take her around 15 minutes to come back with the drinks and warm bread. (restaurant was quite busy). The drinks were exceptional…red sangria and keg old fashioned, pint of Guinness. Bread was standard keg bread which is excellent (were disappointed to be told they no longer offer the three cheese butter for the bread)
Our starters and kids meals came out next. The calamari was excellent…probably the best we’ve ever had from the keg. Other appetizers were Great too. One complaint…the caeser salad was very poor. Way too soggy and looked like it was rushed.
I ended up ordering the 24oz bone(a very big steak ) since the NY striploin was not available and this steak has the strip in it. I asked it to be Chicago style and medium rare/medium ish in the inside and boy did the chef deliver. The steak was cooked perfect. Everyone’s steak was excellent. There was one mishap though. Our neice ordered the keg burger with no onions and it arrived with onions in it. Our neice just took them off with a fork. We didn’t see our server till about 10 minutes into being served our dinner and advised her about the onions. A manager came by and addressed the issue and basically told us we should have let our server know earlier (didn’t see her for 10 minutes). Thought the manager could have handled that better instead of implying we were in control.
Anyways. The food was excellent. We ere given complimentary Billy miner pie for each family for the wedding anniversary and birthday celebrations. Very much appreciated that.
Overall. Food was excellent except for the caeser salad. Probably the best steaks and appetizers than any of our previous keg visits and we’ve been to a lot of them. Drinks were great. The place was super busy so we didn’t make a fuss about the delay in the round of drinks or service. Stephanie was great. I wish they could have done something for the table though for not having one of their popular steaks (NY Striploin) available like a complimentary appetizer or drink.
Will definitely return.
Food: I got the 18oz prime rib, it was juicy (unlike the dry one I got at the Esplanade location). As usual, the highlights of the meal were the bread and the dessert (got the Billy Miner pie).
Service: I found table maintenance to be a real issue at the two other locations but Ted was so on top of it. He cleared our wine glasses as soon as we told them we’re not ordering wine. He cleared all our plates and even crumbed our table before dropping dessert menus. Our water carafe was never empty. Dessert plate was cleared before the bills were brought. These are small little details that were absent from my visits in the two other locations. Bravo Ted.
While I do find The Keg to be a bit pricey for my spending habits, this is the first time where I feel like I’m getting good value from both the food and service.
