Wow! This evening we had a table of 20 people. They took this in stride and seated us quickly. I didn’t expect the food to come very fast, which would be understandable for a table of that size. But we were pleasantly surprised. Our food came out very fast and hot. The servers were very attentive and accommodating. The food was very good and reasonable. Great job La Cantina!

It’s absolutely fabulous!! Highly recommend! The atmosphere is TexMex, yet the service was over the top, one of the best services I had experienced in Bismarck/Mandan!! The wait staff never left my water glass half empty! The food came hot and fast! I didn’t get a chance to finish the chips and salsa! I can’t remember the name of my dish, yet it’s pictured on the menu.! A pineapple shrimp on top of a tortilla stuffed with beef, chicken, and pork covered In a scrumptious cream sauce. The flavor was an explosion of pleasure reminiscent of Harry met Sslly scene! With that said, it’s a family-friendly place with an open, non confined seating area. A full bar and very decent prices! A must stop on the road to a good time!

Wow such a disappointment…. Went to dinner with the family wife and kid, they got their food ate and were done before I was served Taco Bell level food. Great drinks and horchata but that doesn’t make up for the lack of attention nor the quality of food. I did not eat my meal as it was 20 minutes after the rest of my family was served and the table was cleared without even the slightest acknowledgment of anything. So disappointing guess I’ll stick to La Enchalada.

I’ve been here three times, I really wanted to give it a fair review. First night we got take our food to go since they had just opened. Guacamole was a little to smashed for my preference not very chunky and very little spicy. Night 2 I got a mixed dish with steak, chicken, and carnitas. It was perfectly cooked. They forgot to add the shrimp, but it was so good I didn’t even care. The third time we went I had the burrito California and it was also excellent, great cheese sauce and very tender meat! The one beef I have with this place is that they use mix to make their margaritas and they just aren’t very good. Way too sweet or they taste like sour mix. The staff is always friendly we are always seated quickly and receive food quickly. Sometimes getting the check is a bit slow and that’s my only complaint about the service! Overall delicious proteins absolutely perfectly cooked, friendly staff and great prices. Parking is easy to find too!

Its rare to find really good/authentic Mexican food up north , but this place is a real treat. The food and service was fantastic! Margaritas were good but could be a bit more tasteful.

Pretty good place to eat. The food is tasty, hot and made fresh. Not too spicy but you can have all the heat you want. If you love Mexican food, this is a great place to enjoy something very tasty.

As usual, La Cantina did not disappoint! This place is my family’s go to for the best and most affordable Mexican food. I ventured outside of my normal order of Carnita Street Tacos (most authentic I’ve found anywhere besides Mexico) and tried the Texas Fajita. It was YUMMY! However, this is a sharing dish or you will be taking home leftovers. Tried an orange flavored mojito instead of the regular mojito. Also delish!

Our first time to visit this place and it didn’t disappoint us. From the atmosphere, personnel and to its sumptuous Mexican food … all were good ! Muy bien !
First , We were given the tacos and salsa which were delicious and still warm ! Freshly made .
Then i ordered the Supreme enchiladas . It’s was so good with creamy chicken and fresh veggies on the side . It has a good kick, spicy a bit from the fresh onions ❤️
The place was spacious , lots of customers on a Friday night . Nice ambience and Mexican music being played .
The waiters were prompt and cordial .
I like to come visit the place again since they have lots in their menu. Wanna try other food which I’m sure will make my palate dance in their flavors !
