Our first time visiting Darby’s. It didn’t disappoint. The food is so delicious! Such a variety too. We had two different kinds of Benedict’s. The spinach one and the corned beef one. Both were excellent!! Hubby had the Pork-green chili omelette which was really good also. The potatoe patties were delicious. Our friend got the original french Toast. It was cinnamon roll like. It was good but very sweet.
Also; Plate portions are HUGE. They do offer 1/2 plate portions, so ask your server for options.
We got there about 10:30 on a rainy Saturday and our wait was only about 1/2 a hour. But closer to noon it was at least an hour. It’s worth the wait. The parking was definitely an issue. But we finally got a spot!
We were able to order both lunch and breakfast. Just certain things like mashed potatoes or potato salad weren’t available until after noon.
Our waitress was great!
Next time we’ll save room for Pie!! They looked scrumptious as well.
Can’t wait to go back.

What a great spot to grab a delicious breakfast. The caramel apple French Toast was delicious and a new favorite. I ordered a cinnamon roll togo simply because the menu said once they’re gone, they’re gone. I took that as a hint to try it. It did not disappoint! I also ordered a kids biscuits and gravy just for a sampling. Also a great idea! Staff were friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is rustic and welcoming. Try this place out if you get the chance

Our server was great. Food came out surprisingly fast. This time place is hoppin’. They hustle to turn the tables over and keep the flow going. Food was abundant and delicious!

Enjoyed a giant omelette with pulled pork and green Chile, huge biscuit and gravy, and buttery, creamy grits. Amazing, filling, and the staff was totally cool. Will definitely be back, will definitely recommend to everyone at work.

We arrived this morning to try Darbis around 11a and there was about an hour wait. It’s very obvious that this is THE breakfast place for locals. They serve breakfast officially until noon but we didn’t get in until after and still got breakfast. Wait staff was great, food was excellent. Prices a bit steep but these days everyone is. Food cane out quickly once ordered and everyone was happy. Wife didn’t care for the very thick French toast but everything else was great. Or only real complaint was that it was a bit hot inside. I would defiantly go back. Highly recommended!

Came on a very busy day in December. 20 minute wait but they got people in and fed quick! Great service, incredible food and good atmosphere.

Highly recommend if visiting Pinetop. Worth the wait too.

Great mountain cafe with good home style cooking. Outstanding service. Farmhouse decor is charming. (Be sure to enjoy the outrageous Caramel Apple French Toast.)

You can tell its a popular local place before entering just by the busy parking lot. Darbi’s is the only house made corned beef hash we’ve found in the area. The menu had lots of other good sounding options I’d like to try.

I loved Darbi’s Cafe! We went on a Sunday morning around 10am and it was super busy. This restaurant was very well staffed that they were able to continuously turn tables and still maintain great customer service and quality food. I ordered the #14 scramble (Cajun prime rib omelette) and a side of lemon blueberry crepes. It was a ton of food and I could not finish it. The meat was well seasoned and flavorful as well as cooked just right for my taste. The hash browns were nice and crispy as well. I would say you can not miss with the crepe as it was incredibly well balanced with the sweetness and just a touch of tartness from the berries and lemon.

Only drawback is parking, but it’s not a complete deal breaker. Try to combine vehicles if possible.

The wait time was minimal even when they were extremely busy. The staff were very kind and respectful. The food portions were good for the price. The food was so delicious that we forgot to take pictures until half way through eating! I would go again for sure!
