A beach town staple – with greasy, buttery, diner style breakfast food with soul! A little pricy for what it is, but quality and reliable.

Must Order: Shredded Home fries and any type of pancake.

If getting pork roll, ask for them to cook it longer until it’s crispy!

It’s diner food in a tourist town. Food proportion was generous. Quality was OK. Perhaps my expectations was raised by the price. My “Golden Brown Waffle” was just a plain waffle with butter and sugar powder. It was kind of thin for, I think, $15 or $16. Plus it wasn’t really golden brown. My wife ordered the Hawaiian Ham and pineapple with potato pancake. The potato pancakes has a lot of shredded potatos and flour but they were undercooked. Food were served quickly but maybe a little too quickly. Our waitress was friendly and nice. Prices in general are on the high side but it’s expected in a tourist town.

Yum! We had an absolutely delicious breakfast. We loved the whole family friendly environment and great variety of choices. I had the peanut butter pancakes and they were so good! We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

If you’re in Stone Harbor and looking for a great omlette, head to Fishin Pier, but if you are in the mood for some delicious pancakes, then Uncle Bill’s is THE place. They have all kinds of different options, and from personal experience, I can say they are great.

Since I also love eggs I went for option #12 — pancakes, one egg, and crispy bacon (see photo). Yum . I cleaned the plate.

The staff is friendly and helpful. It is also very clean.

I will never understand the hype of this place. The food is so, so over priced and nothing special. They’re also never consistent with the amount of food you get in an order. Sometimes a side of bacon will come with 2 small slices, other times 5 large slices. I ordered French toast and got 4 halves, two days later went again and got 8 halves for the same exact thing!

I love a breakfast diner but this didn’t do it for me. The food was Waffle House quality with IHOP prices and just didn’t quite hit the spot. Take that for what you will. Nevertheless, it’s a cute spot, nice location and our server Olivia was great.

Uncle Bills has good food, and tasty options. The wait staff, however, needs some work.

Uncle Bills is an extremely popular place to eat in Stone Harbor. The food is tasty, and there are a number of different options, from omlets to pancakes to crepes.

The first time I went there, the service was simply horrible. The food took forever to get to the table, the wait staff was slow, bordering on rude, and there was peanut butter on my spoon. A lot of pb on my spoon. They also wouldnt split the which *really* upset me. I decided to give them a second chance. This review is the 2nd chance.

We were seated fairly quickly (party of 6), but we were not seated together. There was a large party of 15 there, so I understood not being seated together, but it put the kibosh on any conversation with the others in our party. Our waitress was efficient but not overly friendly. She took our order and the coffee and juice took quite a while to reach us. In fact, the coffee arrived mere moments before the food (2 omlets and an order of apple cinnamon pancakes). Refills on the drinks didn’t happen. The food was tasty and hot, and the serving sizes were decent for the price.

I believe the main problem I have with Uncle Bill’s is that the entire wait staff appears to be under the age of 21. It’s not the age, necessarily, but perhaps more the inexperience. A little more hustle and a little more caring about the job would go a long way.

These points aside, I would give Uncle Bill’s a try if you’re ever in Stone Harbor.

We came here and waited for a little bit for a table. I asked for hot water and the water I was given had a bunch of disgusting small crumbs and other random debris in it. They gave me a new one but I didn’t even want to drink that because of how grossed out I was. The service is ok and the food is yummy but forgettable.

This place was really crowded but the service was great. Our wait to be seated was less than 15 minutes. The food came out really quickly as well. I had just commented that the cooks were “really moving back there” when a waitress brought our food saying “they’re really quick back there.” Everyone was really friendly and welcoming. I had the eggs, pancakes and scapple platter. I was so happy the scrapple was actually cooked like I like it and seasoned well. My friend really enjoyed his veggie omelet. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful. I ordered my eggs sunny side up. My whole platter made me nostalgic, missing mom’s cooking! Great job Uncle Bill!

Food was great. Service is lacking per usual when you have a bunch of 16 year olds waiting tables. Went up to pay and expected hostess to hand me the chip machine to the customer so they can use Apple Pay and punch in the tip. I don’t know what’s happening in 2025 but I’m only 35 years old and for my entire life a tip as been private. It doesn’t matter if you’re the owner, manager, or waitress. You let the customer punch in their own tip. You don’t ask them a dollar amount and if you feel the tip is lower than it should be ( even though you shouldn’t even know what it is).. take that as a hint of poor service and not on the customer. Extremely unprofessional.
