fabulous dinner – food was delicious and prepared well. lovely wine selection. ambiance is bright lights, bit of a corporate sterile environment, not very cozy. but if you’re looking for an available location in a pinch this is a great option!

I’ve stopped at the Mercure hotel as part of a 1600 km car trip. So purely a transactional stop to sleep and continue the day after, as the hotel was close to the freeway, in Beaune.
I took the chance to have dinner at the M7 restaurant inside the hotel, and I must say: I am extremely positively surprised!
I wasn’t expecting much, but instead, I received wonderful service from the staff ladies, and ate a delicious pork shank. And I don’t say that lightly, as I am quite picky with food.
So I completely recommend it, if you see yourself in the same situation as me. Don’t waste your time with Ibis, Kyriad or similar others. This is the one you wanna book, and this is the place you want to treat your belly with after many hours behind the wheel.

Excellent food of Burgundy specialities once again at the M7 restaurant in the Mercure hotel in Beaune, the Bourguignon was exceptional my wife loved her pork dish too, enjoyed with an excellent Bourgogne Blanc from Chateau de Premeaux. The experience was topped by excellent service from Nadia and her colleagues.

Perfectly decent hotel restaurant if you’re staying there (as we do a couple of times a year), but I wouldn’t consider it a ‘destination restaurant’ in Beaune. Simple menu, but food is well-prepared and well-presented. Good wine selection, particularly from the local area. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are very pleasant and English is spoken, but they’re happy to indulge and help those wishing to try out their French!

The restaurant is cold, the waiters look kind of overwhelmed and embarrassed, I assume it is mostly due to the fact that the food they serve is not eatable.
I strongly recommend avoiding the restaurant. The main dishes are the worst part of it.
