We dined at Hudson and Nash in the San Diego Hilton and Staci was the best!!!! Her service was absolutely lovely and it was my mom’s birthday and she made us feel so special and taken care of. We love Staci!

My wife and I are visiting from out of town and always enjoy trying new restaurants. We had dinner here last night shortly after our arrival and really enjoyed it, and decided to give their breakfast a try as well. It was Fantastic! We each ordered the two egg breakfast which comes with breakfast potatoes and choice of meats and toast. We were again very impressed with the freshness and quality of food, as well as the service, which is definitely not something one can take for granted these days. Angelo was our server and did a great job of taking care of us. I must add that I usually order my eggs country scrambled. Often when I order my eggs that way I get some very strange/odd looks. And I have even had servers tell me that they can’t be done that way for various reasons, none of which usually makes any sense. BTW, country scrambled is just a mixture of egg whites and yolk by starting with frying and then scrambling before they are done, which definitely enhances the flavor. It takes no more time nor effort than just preparing regular scrambled eggs. Anyway, the point is that Angelo listened, discussed it with the chef, and made it happen. And the eggs were perfect. The orange juice was great as well. I guess if I had to offer one small criticism, the coffee is just mediocre. But this is true of many restaurants. The meals are maybe a little pricey, but a reasonably good value. Overall a couple of great dining experiences to begin our trip.

I honestly don’t understand why this place is rated only 4.0 because our experience was fantastic! We came in after 8pm for appetizers (half off, which is a great deal), and everything we ordered exceeded expectations. The tuna ceviche was super fresh, the wings were perfectly seasoned, the hummus came with crisp, fresh veggies, the tortilla soup was flavorful and comforting, and the calamari was light and crispy without being greasy.

The food quality, flavors, and presentation felt much higher than what you’d expect from just a happy hour menu. Great atmosphere and a beautiful spot inside the Hilton Bayfront. We’ll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious late night bite in San Diego!

I recently had dinner at Hudson & Nash and overall, the experience was a mix of highlights and a few disappointments.

First, the positives — the food was absolutely delicious. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and every dish was thoughtfully prepared and flavorful. The ambiance of the restaurant is also beautiful, with a modern and upscale design that fits perfectly with the Hilton brand.

However, my experience with the service left something to be desired. I’m currently dealing with a voice issue and can only speak softly. When I tried to ask the waiter a few questions, I felt he was rushed and lacked the patience I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Given the setting, I would have appreciated a bit more attentiveness and understanding.

All in all, Hudson & Nash has a lot of potential with its excellent food and beautiful setting, but the service experience didn’t quite match the level I was expecting. I’d return for the food, hoping for a more welcoming and accommodating experience next time.

Took myself here for a treat your self night, and let me tell you the food, service, and atmosphere were battling it out for best of the best! Yasar got my order perfect and checked on me just the right amount. I had a great time and I want to give a super special shout out to Luis from the kitchen. He brought out my food, and I made a joke about a way it could be better but wasn’t on the menu. He took it back, and then brought me out an entirely remade dish that was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! I will definitely be coming back, and thank you Luis for turning my whole night around!

I’ll start by saying I hate Hilton and refuse to stay at their properties.

But, I love this restaurant!

It is beautiful and gets tons of natural light inside no need to sit on the patio. The big difference is Ive had some of the best service here. Service is notoriously spotty in a tourist town like San Diego

The holiday buffets are wonderful. Great food, I loved the charcuterie and holiday experience. Afterwards you can walk around the hotel or outside on the waterfront. And yes they validate parking.

From the first steps approaching the door and meeting the lovely and pleasant Mel, to being served by Oscar, and the follow up toward the end of our meals by the manager Jade, every experience we had while staying here for a convention next door was absolutely amazing. Top notch service, nice menu, great atmosphere. The staff’s professionalism and friendliness is outstanding. Hope to come back!

Very scrumptious food here! It is a little pricey, so be cautious when ordering. Wings are to die for. The lavender bread was okay, but you could tell it has been reheated as it was still frozen on the inside. Taste was good though. Steaks were a little dry but had great taste. Salads are unique. Service is excellent.
