Village Juice & Kitchen has grown from a table at Cobblestone Market, to a food truck, to a 2016 restaurant location at Towers Shopping Center and now to its second location in Raleigh. Our founder, Lonnie Atkinson brought her love of unprocessed plant-based foods and cold pressed juice back from her years living in California. Our goal is to share this passion with our community, offering many vegan and vegetarian choices, but also having add-ons like chicken and a wide ranging menu to make healthy eating taste delicious for all our customers and eating preferences.
Fresh-pressed juice drinks & veggie-centric eats, served at a counter in simple, modern surrounds.

Wow ! I can’t brag enough about how great this place is. Village juice made my transition to plant based so much easier. They have a variety of healthy options that actually taste really good ! They made eating healthy pleasant and not boring for me. The staff is always so helpful especially Krystal and Bailey ! They are amazing and even greet you by name. 10 out of 10 recommend!

I frequent this location somewhat often and have always come during the week. It was Father’s Day, and I was thinking I would like to eat here have never eaten here on the weekends or on a Sunday overall, the food was still good. I ordered the herb kale dish. The care wasn’t nearly as chopped up as it usually is and come to think of it. I didn’t hear the same chopping going on that you do during the week. The herb dressing that it comes with really didn’t have the flavor or punch that it usually does, i’m not sure if there wasn’t enough of it there or it wasn’t shaken or stirred up before application. I had mangoes added, which tasted good but a lot of them were had bits and pieces that were cut too close to the seed so they were difficult to chew. The Parmesan crisp tasted good, but we’re very soggy and not crisp at all. So if you come here on a weekend or on a Sunday and it’s not quite what you expected give the place another chance during the week. I would speculate that this is a management or employee issue. Hopefully it can get resolved.

The juices are amazing. This group is lacking leadership and customer service is at the Popeyes level. The staff play too much and are quite lazy. If you place a pick-up order for juice, they may have the juices ready for you by placing them in a bag like most take-out or pick-up restaurants. At this place, you will have to pack your own juices, and they place the receipt on the counter. I tried emailing the business around Dec. 2025, but I haven’t received a reply yet. I have tried this place three times and I had a successful visit once. They play too much!

I recently visited Village Juice & Kitchen in Winston-Salem, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re in the mood for a nutrient-packed smoothie, a hearty grain bowl, or a delicious avocado toast, they have plenty of healthy and satisfying options.
The atmosphere was bright and inviting, making it a great spot to grab a meal or work for a bit. The staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth ordering process. Everything I tried tasted amazing, and I appreciated the variety of wholesome choices on the menu.
If you’re looking for a place that serves delicious, clean, and thoughtfully prepared food, Village Juice & Kitchen is definitely worth a visit!

Needed some good clean fuel while traveling and this place really hit the spot. Plenty of interior seating and limited outside options. Friendly staff and great overall selection of juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, salads, and more. Was really impressed with the fresh ingredients and welcoming atmosphere. Will be back when going that way every time. Cheers!!

Very delicious fresh food. I don’t normally eat at these kind of fresh vegetable / juice oriented restaurants but this was a surprise. All the food was very delicious and had good flavor. The açaí berry bowl was awesome. Also try their “so good you’ll quit your job”.

The food is DELICIOUS! I was only in town for a day & was looking for a clean smoothie with fresh whole ingredients, & I stumbled upon more! I ended up getting the Farmer’s Daughter bowl & a Super Blue smoothie, both of which tasted amazing. Their food is all sourced locally, except for their fruit I guess, & I believe it’s all organic as well. It’s really nice to fuel up after a good workout with food that won’t have any preservatives, chemicals etc. Even if you were to get a salad or something deemed “healthy” at like a Tropical Smoothie, their food literally tastes processed and not as fresh, especially compared to food made with organic, locally-grown ingredients like this place. It’s harder & harder to find places like this nowadays that are genuine. Definitely will come back next time I’m in Winston!

Such an inviting atmosphere. Love their cold pressed juices, Reboot is a favorite of mine. The vegan desserts are delicious. My favorite toast is the poached pear with goat cheese. Customer service has been hit or miss in my experience, (especially low rating on their social media responses)tho my last visit it was great! It is a bit pricey for me but I still love it!

I was pulled to try the Village Juice for some time. I finally made my way to this beautiful restaurant, and I only wish I had sooner.
Finally. Real. Food. This place serves food with genuine flavors and high quality ingredients. I had a southwest wrap, and after the first bite I knew I was blessed by having stumbled upon The Village Juice Co.
The chef and staff clearly are passionate about what they do. Their masterful use of ingredients makes every bite of the wrap truly a sensory experience worth writing home about.
Bravo. An asset to Winston Salem’s restaurant scene to say the least.
