We came in and saw the outside atmosphere was a bit old but when we came inside the setting was great. The workers spoked more than one language which helped me and were very kind and helpful. The cost on weekdays was a fair price and the food tasted amazing. We had drove 1 hours to come here and exceeded our expectations. The sushi was well prepared and tasted delicious. They have a wide variety of food selections, including Asian, American, and others. They also had a sushi and dessert bar included.
Definitely will be visiting soon. 9/10

My husband and I visited during a weekday for lunch. The exterior and interior of the building feel a bit dated, but the food offered a great variety for the price. The staff were friendly and moved quickly, which made the experience smooth and pleasant.
These days, it’s hard to find a place where two people can eat out at this price point, so that was a big plus for us. It’s not a fancy spot for special occasions, but it’s a solid choice for a casual weekday meal. We’ll likely come back again during the week.

Food is so delicious. First time that i don’t get an upset stomach after eating so much food at a buffet. We tried it all!! So good!!!

First and last time visiting here. During my recent visit, the food was cold, stale, and not properly rotated or refreshed. Throughout our time there, no new food was put out, and we were repeatedly served the same cold items. This resulted in a very poor experience, and the shrimp I consumed made me feel unwell. Even during a transition between lunch and dinner, guests should never be served cold or stale food. ( which was the reason I was given by the front desk). I’ve never been to a buffet where both my children went up once. Please do better for the community you are servicing.

If you’re in the mood for highly decent sushi and some very good flavored Asian food, this is worthy of your time for lunch or dinner. In addition to delicious sushi and sashimi, the pork chops, pig feet, chicken skewers, steak skewers, sautéed greens beans, broccoli or other types of sautéed green are tasty as well as a variety of cold & warm seafood & meat options are all very satisfying.

we had a good experience! We went on a holiday day so price was $28.99 but I believe it’s $19.99 on a regular weekday (confirm that tho!) food options are a lot more than usual buffets, especially the sushi selection. Things are fresh and tasty and trays are constantly being cleaned/changed out. It was pretty busy but things were maintained and floors were clean (which is important imo) I’d recommend a visit!

STILL A 5 Stars, if anything since covid their food got better! It really is the best buffet on Long Island, EVERYTHING TASTES DELICIOUS! More choices than Island Buffet, and more flavorful than Global Buffet and Flaming Grill Buffet. The only buffet that was better was Minado in Great Neck, but they’ve converted to half hot pot since covid :/

DJ International Buffet is hands down my favorite buffet ever, and our Thanksgiving visit just confirmed it. Yes, it was a bit more expensive for the holiday, but the special spread was absolutely worth it.
This isn’t your typical Chinese buffet, the “International” name is earned. They have wide variet, from premium staples to unique finds. My standouts were the flavorful kalbi short ribs, the steamed flounder, the extensive sushi selection, the “stone something” crab, and the seafood Cajun boil. They even had five soups, including a Chinese herbal kind! For picky eaters or adventurers, there’s truly something for everyone.
The selection is mind-blowing. You can go for luxury items like crab legs, lamb skewers, oysters, clams, and snails, or stick with classics. I love that they offer both raw and cooked seafood. I skip the filler noodles and go straight for the good stuff. This is the place to try new things like escargot!
I have to mention the dessert station, too. They had a chocolate fountain, a good spread of cakes and pastries, and a self-serve ice cream machine with vanilla and green tea flavors. I even saw them making fresh crepes! I was too full to try any myself, but my family said the desserts were great.
Despite being PACKED on a holiday, seating was plentiful. The service was impressively attentive; staff cleared plates promptly and even refilled our sodas (which, FYI, are not included in the buffet price).
If you love buffets, you MUST check this spot out. I can’t wait to return for their weekday lunch ($19.99!), which is an insane deal for this quality and variety.
