The reviews here are deceiving. The shrimp paid Thai had a grilled Smokey taste that stood out. Curry had a good zesty and filling flavor. The peanut sauce had a little spice, creamy and filling. Can’t go wrong with fresh crab Rangoon’s and the chilly sauce we’ll definitely wonder an hour from home to visit again.

Khao San is absolutely delicious. The noodles had just the right amount of spice. I highly recommend. The service is also outstanding! Thanks guys for an incredible dinner.

An great restaurant. We have been coming here for some time and the food they serve is great. Mostly recommend coming fishing happy hour, from 4-6.

We ordered take out and were surprised at how quickly the order was complete. Not even 20 minutes. However that it the only positive thing I can say, the food was so mediocre. Ordered the Chinese Brocolli with Pork Belly which was $17 and got 99% brocoli and four TINY slices of pork belly. Ordered Larb, which is usually eaten with lettuce as it’s a salad – no lettuce given. Ordered Pad See Ew at medium spicy, there was NO spice at all. It was so bland, I was eating plain chicken on plain noodles. We will not be returning.

Found this little gem when in this neighborhood. True street food style and everything was above our expectations. We ordered char grilled beef salad, which was pretty spicy. Both grilled pork and fried chicken were excellent and pad Thai is good on a smaller portion. Worth to check it out if you want somewhat different then regular/main stream Thai food!

Tofu sticks ⭐⭐⭐✨
– hit hard but maybe bc hungry
– came with a really yummy peanut fish sauce situation
– crispy

❤️Short rib mussamun curry ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
– only complaint would be it might be too sweet
– I’m not sure if it was given with actual roti or just croissants but I loved it
– meat melting

Beef with egg plant ⭐⭐⭐✨
– really healthy choice
– swapped rice for steam vegetables
– the meat wasnt the best texture at times but nothing crazy, would definitely order it again

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. The Thai ice tea is very strong, and served in stainless cups. The sweet potato appetizer was delicious! The entrees were good sized for the price and great for family style sharing. The chicken ping (40) was very good. The pork belly with green beans (50), jungle curry, crispy basil with chicken (54), and pumpkin curry were good.

Good service and constant refills of our Thai tea. 4/5

Khao San is an authentic Thai experience. The food is amazing! This place is great with allergies. I am gluten and dairy free along with other allergies and have never had a problem eating here. The menu is clearly labeled with all potential allergens (dairy, gluten, soy, egg, and more) and even with my allergies, there are only a few items on the menu that I can’t eat. For those of you who have food allergies, you know what a big deal this is. Some of my favorites on the menu include the Summer Rolls (hello peanut sauce!), Khao San Holy Basil Chicken, Spicy Chicken, Pad Thai, Kor Mu Yaang, and the Thai Iced Tea (free refills!). Khao San is a small, local business with amazing food and service. Go there….seriously…why are you still reading this? Go try it now!

This is one of the regular Thai restaurants. You can find some unique Thai street food options and also traditional Thai food items ( common in the US ) on the menu. The food quality and taste are great. They use unique ingredients/cooking methods that differentiate them from other average Thai resturants.Service is also good.

Pad kee mao, if there was sauce on this dish i never found it. Just drenched with oil and a little spice. No choice of meat either. And the fresh rolls were OK, no shrimp or other meat in them and the peanut sauce was clumsy with oil sitting on the top. Not going back.
