Easily one of my favorite pizza spots, ever. I have eaten true, authentic Neapolitan pizza in Naples and I can confidently say this pizza is as close to the real thing as you’ll get in the Central Coast. The quality is always consistent. Service is always top-tier, fast, and efficient. My favorite is the Pepe! I’ll always be willing to make the 20 minute drive to come here. Love love love.

– Ordered the Fungo pie: extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, garlic, mozzarella, basil, Parmesan, mushrooms.
Added: sun dried tomatoes and pepperonis
– The chef is soft spoken and incredibly mindful and kind, especially when you’re amongst one of the handful of orders. Everything is made when ordered, so of course it will take a little time. It will be worth the wait, every single time.

Excellent pizza!! If you can’t go to Naples then come here. The ingredients were fresh and the crust was that perfect mix of chewy and crunchy. Loved it!!

Unfortunately, Palo Mesa Wood Fired Pizza at this location has the worse Margherita Pizza that I have ever tasted! The pizza was quite burnt beyond “wood fired” range…more like on the fire and the pizza had little toppings, really thin crust, and boring flavor. Only a 12″ size for $18+ for a 1 or 2 person pizza. Sorry, this customer was very disappointed.

Hands down the best Neapolitan-style pizza around, and the most charming and authentic Italian place! The chef is always so friendly too. We have tried almost every kind of pizza on the menu now and it never fails to amaze. The ingredients are always so fresh!

Palo Mesa pizza serves gourmet style in a quiet restaurant conveniently located downtown Arroyo Grande.
We covered on Wednesday night, there was no wait and the person working the counter and the kitchen kindly greeted us and offered friendly suggestions of what to order.
We decided on the Carmelatte & Shiitake pizza and had no regrets. The whole pizza was gone, we were full and satisfied.
Great place for a date. Great place if you want to try something new because they do not serve your traditional pizza.
Plenty of parking and outdoor seating if you bring the family.
