Love the food. They have a very extensive menu of local and Chinese food. It’s far and away from everything but if you’re up near Kohala I’d go every time. The dining area isn’t nothing much but the service and the food is excellent.

We just stopped in for a snack so it’s probably not a fair assessment. The potstickers were 4/5, the sauce was okay. I love egg rolls and we only ate one and threw the rest away. They were not seafood egg rolls, but they tasted fishy. It is a little cafe and there was only 1 other customer there who already had their food. However, it took 25 minutes to get out order. They were showing WEF wrestling on the TV. It does seem to be an appreciated local spot, so I apologize if my review was based on very limited information.

This is my second time this year, coming to Kona and staying with my friend in this town. This restaurant is so cute and friendly and the food is so good and they have a wide variety on their menu. You also see the local sitting outside. It’s a hangout spot to catch up with your friends and everybody is just so genuinely nice I love the aloha spirit.

We have eaten at this place multiple times since we began staying in the Hawi area. This is the best place to get Chinese food in Kohala. They have a very extensive menu with something for almost anyone. What is even better is that they are able and willing to make things off the menu. You can get many vegetarian or even vegan options if you know what to ask for. Our family likes their fried rice (vegetable, chicken and house) the fried rice noodle (chow funn) and many other things. If you don’t want Chinese food they also offer a wide variety of local dishes as well. If you are in Kohala, in the Hawi area it is worth a stop. The owners are very friendly and do what they can to please their customers. We think this is a great restaurant!
