Delicious Mexican food in a truck off the highway! Everything’s delicious. We tried the quesadilla and gordita, both were steak. The meat was tender, not full of gristle. It was freshly made, even the tortillas were homemade. It’s plenty of food, especially if you get the plate. The beans and rice were good too!
It’s too bad I can’t come back unless I’m on a road trip this way, I’d come back for sure! The staff was really friendly.
Parking is fine. If you eat there, there’s two or three picnic tables but it’s dusty from the roads and highway. No restroom (it is a food truck) but you can run to the gas station across the street if you really need it.

Wanted to try a local place out. I paid $6 for a breakfast “burrito” not a bad price for a burrito so I tip $3 extra. Wait about 15 min no worries then I get this regular sized breakfast taco not burrito. I even asked if they were full size burritos to make sure. Wasn’t even that tasty either what a shame

I had two chicken, bean, rice, and pico de gallo burritos on homemade tortillas. Definitly the best burritos I’ve ever gotten from a food truck. I would recomend Taco Boss to anyone looking for good food. P.S. move it to Abilene or open up another one here.

I love their breakfast burritos. Boss tacos has a great variety to choose from. I have also ordered from their lunch menu so many choices. Great prices, great food and great service. The green sauce is the best and addictive a tad more Spicer than the red sauce.
Location just needs a bigger parking lot but it is still easy access right across the RoadRanger truck stop where Wendy’s is located.
They even have the option that you can call your order in ahead of time and have it ready for pickup when your hungry for some amazing food to satisfy your desire for Mexican food.

Excellent tacos!!! So I travel from El Paso, Texas to Dallas and I’m always looking for authentic Mexican food. I’ve looked all over Dallas and Ft. Worth are for good authentic Mexican food and I have found a couple of places that are ok. I’ve been making this trip 3 times a week for three years and today I happens to take my break in Cisco, Tx and when I took the exit to stop at the the trucks stop I saw the Boss Tacos Food Truck!!! I parked and decided to give it a shot thinking it was probably going to be like the rest of the places I’ve gone to. But boy was I surprised…the asada callejero tacos are the bomb!!! I finally found a spot that has amazing Mexican food!!! They have a wide variety of Mexican food and it freshly made and it so delicious!!! The service was great and the the staff are really good people!!! I hope they keep coming to this spot because I’m will become a frequent customer!!! I can’t wait to try their quesadillas and gorditas!!! 5 + stars for Boss Taco Mexican Food Truck!!!
