Oz is a family-owned and operated Korean BBQ restaurant that first opened in Sacramento, CA in 2004. We now have three locations — Sacramento, Elk Grove, and Folsom. Equipped with tabletop barbecues and a fully stocked bar, Oz offers an energetic and festive atmosphere where guests can enjoy great food, celebrate special occasions, and spend quality time with friends and family. Excellent Korean BBQ. All the food was very fresh and delicious. Our server could have been better in that we had to request a couple of things several times like drink refills but he brought the last ones in to-go cups, so that was nice. I’d rather not name him since overall he was good. Our favorites were the short ribs, rib eye and the fish-shaped sweet potato cakes at the end. Great place to bring out-of-town guests.

after having been to the sacramento location, we were so excited to have one closer to us open in folsom!
FOOD
everything was so fresh, from the meat to the veggies. huge fans of the garlic shrimp, bulgogi, and hawaiian galbi.. but you really can’t go wrong with anything; it’s all delicious. all the sides are fabulous, and great additions to the yummy AYCE.
SERVICE
when we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a very nice hostess. Nathan was our server and was attentive throughout our entire dining experience! all the staff were very kind.
AMBIANCE
super clean inside. bright lighting just really opens up the space. huge TVs with music videos playing all throughout!
PARKING
adjacent parking structure nearby. since the restaurant is located at an outdoor mall, it’s nice to shop around while you wait or walk back to your car!
MISC
not really a place i’d recommend for vegetarians as there weren’t many vegetarian options. GREAT for families or big parties.
overall, can’t wait to come back! i really hope Oz does well in this location because this is exactly what the Palladio has been missing!

The food was fresh and plentiful and our service was reasonably good. There were a couple of issues, such as requested items, in this case a glass of wine, not arriving until much later and a couple of reminders given. I think our biggest issue was that the atmosphere became visibly smokey after a time. That is not completely Oz’s fault as people may not realize that their grill can be changed to minimize smoke. Otherwise a good value and experience.

The overall atmosphere is pleasant and the service is good. The side dishes are generous and the food tastes great.
The board games mounted on the wall to keep kids entertained are a nice touch.
The meat seems slightly below the level of the main OZ location, but since they are still in their soft opening, it’s worth giving them time.
Still, being the only all-you-can-eat BBQ spot in the area makes it unique enough to deserve a 5-star rating.

They still need to iron the kinks. We’ve been an Oz patrons for several years particularly the Bradshaw and Elk Grove branches.
The kitchen still needs to get their stuff together. The ribeye steak was frozen, the signature bulgogi’s marinade was not even close. The Costco bulgogi’s flavor was much better. We opted for the seafood. However, the garlic shrimp was lacking the flavor and the garlic 🙁
The management was genuinely wanted to make it right and wanted feedback. The machine ice cream, service, and atmosphere was great.

We have been going to their original location in Rancho Cordova for over a decade. This new location in Folsom is by far their best! Prompt friendly service, top quality meats and side dishes and love the new look with high ceilings, open space and efficient vents keeping the smoke and traditional smells of a Korean BBQ at bay! Highly recommend this location over the others! We’ll worth the drive or stop on your way to or return from Tahoe.

I have to say that Folsom is really not the first place that comes to mind when it comes to food, but this place is by far one of the best Korean BBQ spots we’ve been to, and I genuinely mean that. Our favorite was the Royal Galbi. It’s some of the best meat we’ve had at a Korean BBQ restaurant. I’m not a kimchi fan, but theirs is seasoned so well that I ate the whole thing.
The service is good and the ambience is def it. It’s also kid friendly. However, if you come on a Wednesday they will have no rice paper, but who needs that when you have the radish paper.
As someone who comes from LA, where we have some of the best food in the world, I have to say this place is a must. We won’t have to drive over to Sunrise anymore.

Food was enjoyable. Coming from Australia, we have high quality KBBQ here too. Found the service here to fall a bit behind. Food took a little while to come out and the grills were slow to cook the food with the time limit set. But overall, an enjoyable experience.

So far so good. We have been here four times and he three out of four were excellent the second time there were a few hiccups but it all go sorted out. We are overall happy with the service and the food. The price is good for the all you can eat. Kimchi is on point. If you love Korean food like I do it really hits the spot.
