Just had an incredible meal at The Pit Stop, and Angela made the whole experience even better. She recommended the chicken fried steak — but not just any chicken fried steak. The Pit Stop version, smothered in gravy and queso (yes, both!). It was hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Massive portion, perfectly cooked, and I barely made a dent in it. The onion rings were just as amazing.

Angela was absolutely awesome — super friendly, on point with her recommendations, and genuinely kind. She even let me stay a little after closing and treated my service dog EnKi like royalty. Couldn’t ask for a better server or a better spot. Thank you!

FATTEST taco Tuesday tacos I’ve had in a while! Absolutely mouthwatering! The staff is always courteous to everyone. The food is delicious, affordable and award winning from what their FB page says. Either way, this hidden gem is incredible. I got my food in 5 minutes at lunch too!!

The food and service were truly exceptional. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully prepared, and served fresh. The staff went above and beyond—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely committed to making the experience enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place where both the kitchen and the service team shine this brightly. I left completely impressed and can’t wait to return!

Older building next to ran down motel. Interior was clean but definitely dated. Chips were good, salsa was just right from a spicy perspective but needed salt. Ordered the Flautas with beans and rice. Flautas were covered in queso so you couldn’t pick them up, they were too hard to cut with fork so eating them was problematic. Tasted ok but nothing special. Rice was dry and the rice was broken up, beans were a little dry but tasted ok. Not impressed.

Food was on point. The green chile was pretty hot, possibly could’ve used a little more salt, but The burrito my husband got had a stew meat in it that was incredible! Both dishes were pretty unique actually, and the cafe itself is very unique but a slight “hole in the wall”. I’d definitely go back again! my hats off to the chef!

An amazing local cafe. Definitely a “Hidden Gem” kind of place. The atmosphere was classic fun old time cafe and the food was spot on delicious and large servings! I couldn’t even finish my breakfast burrito it was so filling. We look forward to coming back for lunch sometime and to have many more breakfast dates here! Highly recommend this wonderful cafe!

I thought the name Pit Stop is apprapo, had breakfast there on Tuesday, the service was par excellence, food was delectable. The ambiance was quite charming with all the memobilia on the wall. What top it off was a group charming drivers of antique motorcars we met as me and my brother were leaving out the door, and we enjoyed taking pictures of their vintage cars. What made our breakfast so enjoyable was our waitress Jolie, she was really nice and attentive, a pleasure to meet. I highly recommend the Pit Stop.

Solid New Mexican homemade food. We stopped for breakfast and for a red/green hatch fix. Excellent, quick service. Right off 10. Clean and locally owned.
