usually love this place, but be careful of being ripped off. many of the items don’t have prices and yesterday we got charged $26 for package of corn tortillas, flour tortillas and a bag of pork rinds. i like to support local, but not if they take advantage of locals. my advice – ask for prices before you buy.

I recently moved away from the Roaring Fork Valley. There’s a million great reasons to come back to visit but this Carneceria is my number one. Soon we will be reunited. The operators and owners are extremely friendly and it has a very homey feel. If you want the best Mexican food you have ever had in your life, you go here. It’s a Carbondale staple, it’s food, it’s a life staple.
