Might try it again on the next trip to Lima. Honestly the server was so kind and knowledgeable that she made the experience memorable.
I will be returning just for those.
Everything else was still top notch. Service was quick and professional.
Have nothing bad to say.
I have been traveling to Colombia before Peru and Im still shocked by the prices here.
Its definetely not cheap though, youll spend at least 16-20€ for food.
Ambiente is fantastico, feels like on other side of the pacific.
Would it be racist to compare the peoples … Aah lets leave it
What I can say about the peoples looks, their faces all look like it would be rainibg outside. But I heard today its almost never raining in Lima …
Buut, service was super fast.
They put me two times ginger, I have no idea why. Maybe overseen the one standing on my mini table or bad visability due to the weather.
My drink came last. Real sushi masters cut the fish like a samurai master in rampage mode, but shaking the cocktail seams to take more precision.
I have gone for the Lychee Martini.
Today slipping in the suit of Japanese James Bond.
And they shaked it, not squired it.
Anyway, bit expensive for my colombian taste lately, but kind a worth it. Rich in taste, a bit like christmas under a white cherry tree.
Sushi sashimi was excelentee. Really worth it. You get 4 peaces to the price of 2 nigiri. Like butter, perfectoo
The maki I had, well I forgot the name. With spargus shrimp and topped with tuna. It was flamed. Better to say burned. That was what costs the fifth star. Dont get me wrong, can be it was even intended, becausw it had black crumbles kinda.
It was gread, but the burned taste, I really dont like it.
If you want it a bit fancy, dont care to spend a little for great quality and please dont take something flamed unless you love burned toasts, I would say do it.
Bring good mood and sunshine in youre face.
The ambiance is beautiful with a clear japanese touch, and the personnel were courteous and attentive. Very crowded restaurant.
They also provide an oshibori (a moist towel to clean your hands), which was a thoughtful nod to traditional sushi etiquette — though it would’ve been even nicer if it were warm.
Service was friendly and down-to-earth, without any of the snobbery you sometimes encounter at upscale sushi places.
I also tried the seafood hot plate, which was decent but not especially memorable. Stick to the sushi — you won’t be disappointed.
