Service was very impressive, the sushi was not. It wasn’t the worst, not at all, but it read better on the menu than it ended up tasting.

Might try it again on the next trip to Lima. Honestly the server was so kind and knowledgeable that she made the experience memorable.

Seji roll, parrilla roll, and crispy wonton tack were 10/10. Simply amazing.

I will be returning just for those.

Everything else was still top notch. Service was quick and professional.

Have nothing bad to say.

Chati told me it will be one of the best and a mid range good value for money place. Yeah I trusted the AI, well I was hungry ok.
I have been traveling to Colombia before Peru and Im still shocked by the prices here.
Its definetely not cheap though, youll spend at least 16-20€ for food.

Ambiente is fantastico, feels like on other side of the pacific.
Would it be racist to compare the peoples … Aah lets leave it

What I can say about the peoples looks, their faces all look like it would be rainibg outside. But I heard today its almost never raining in Lima …
Buut, service was super fast.
They put me two times ginger, I have no idea why. Maybe overseen the one standing on my mini table or bad visability due to the weather.

My drink came last. Real sushi masters cut the fish like a samurai master in rampage mode, but shaking the cocktail seams to take more precision.
I have gone for the Lychee Martini.
Today slipping in the suit of Japanese James Bond.
And they shaked it, not squired it.
Anyway, bit expensive for my colombian taste lately, but kind a worth it. Rich in taste, a bit like christmas under a white cherry tree.

Sushi sashimi was excelentee. Really worth it. You get 4 peaces to the price of 2 nigiri. Like butter, perfectoo

The maki I had, well I forgot the name. With spargus shrimp and topped with tuna. It was flamed. Better to say burned. That was what costs the fifth star. Dont get me wrong, can be it was even intended, becausw it had black crumbles kinda.
It was gread, but the burned taste, I really dont like it.

If you want it a bit fancy, dont care to spend a little for great quality and please dont take something flamed unless you love burned toasts, I would say do it.
Bring good mood and sunshine in youre face.

It might seem this is a conflicting review. However, it’s not because the service can be good, but the food not necessarily great. This is especially the case with the sushi. The makis have too much rice and too compacted. They also use too much cream cheese which does not make sense (in my humble opinion). Sushi should not have cream cheese. I can accept that one item can be the traditional Philadelphia roll, which is an USA food, not a Japanese. The heaviness of cream cheese diminishes and undermine the delicate flavors of the restaurant if the ingredients.
The ambiance is beautiful with a clear japanese touch, and the personnel were courteous and attentive. Very crowded restaurant.

Everything is good here. Food, service and atmosphere. I really recommend this place. One of the best makis I tried in Lima. Ivan was our waiter and he is great!! He helped us to order and get the best. Thank you Ivan.

I came in with fairly low expectations, especially after a disappointing experience at a fancier sushi spot like Matsuei — but I was very pleasantly surprised. The traditional sushi offerings (nigiri and sashimi) were superb: the rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the fish was fresh, and the portions and prices were more than reasonable.

They also provide an oshibori (a moist towel to clean your hands), which was a thoughtful nod to traditional sushi etiquette — though it would’ve been even nicer if it were warm.

Service was friendly and down-to-earth, without any of the snobbery you sometimes encounter at upscale sushi places.

I also tried the seafood hot plate, which was decent but not especially memorable. Stick to the sushi — you won’t be disappointed.

The pizza sushi is amazing!!! Truly! First time trying raw sushi and it was so fresh. Highly recommend. No reservation required. Do not get the string fried rice-not pictured. It was sweet and tasted like Spanish rice-disappointing being that it was an Asian restaurant.

Low key, local feeling sushi bar…a lot of options but the roll selection. Was limited to maybe 10- the majority with a breaded shrimp base. Flavors were really good- maybe a Peru thing, but we had to ask for a ramekin and a side of wasabi and ginger…they had instead provided a sweet sauce and another more savory sauce.

we came across Edo by accident and looooved this place. Both of the teas we got were amazing. It was our first time having bao and it was a great first go. We got the parmesan ramen and neither of us really liked it but the meat was perfection, and i can definitely see why others would enjoy it but cheesy ramen just wasn’t for us. The passion sushi was easily the best roll i’ve had in a long time, we ordered more after it was so good. The korean hot pot stole the show though. would definitely recommend and would definitely go again
