But most importantly, the best and most authentic food you’re ever going to have. I had the carne asada tacos. Growing up in San Diego, I’m a bit of a carne asada snob/connoisseur and definitely know the difference between the real stuff and all the imitators out there. This was the best I’ve ever had in my whole life (which says a lot)…and guess what? That’s not even their specialty. Their specialty is seafood- which I can only imagine is next level.
Their pineapple water saved my life on a super hot and sweltering day…and what a menu! So many options that run the full spectrum. They have something for everyone, including vegetarian options as well.
I don’t normally write such gushing reviews, but it is warranted in this case. My dad and his neighbor also agree. But don’t take our word for it. Come try it for yourself. I absolutely guarantee you will feel the exact same way!
PS- you guys need to keep opening up locations- and also make your way up to Los Angeles (where I live) when you do (pretty please)…and until then, you are my #1 go-to any time I’m in town!
I ordered the grilled fish burrito for $15. You can also get the fried fish version of this burrito for $13, plus tax. My first impression was that the burrito was quite large, and I really appreciated that they crisped up all sides of the flour tortilla.
The fish burrito came with a good amount of tender well seasoned white fish, fresh crisp shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, and a nice white cream sauce. The burrito was very tasty and filling. The burrito was very good eating with the hot sauces they offer in the squeeze bottles.
The service was upbeat and very welcoming. There’s plenty of street parking across the street on Dale avenue. They offer a variety of seafood and land items, including fries and cocteles. Next time I need to try their fish tacos.
